Sahih Al Bukhari no1: “Good intentions” Introduction of Hadith about Intentions Hadith is ”Our Actions depend on our good intentions”. Sahih Bukhari no 1 Story:- The house of a Sahabi Once upon a time, a man constructs a new house, he was living in a small house, which he did not like, so for a new house, he wants to have every system which does not create any problems for him while living. He keeps the window in the house no doubt it was a beautiful house, everyone liked it, a man passing nearby sees the house and observed that there is a beautiful window in the house which opens outside he praised his house and asked the owner humbly Why did you keep this window outside in your house? What is your intention to make this window? The owner replied I want to make my house perfect I keep this window so that fresh air and sunlight can enter my house, The other man said it’s good but if you intend to hear the voice of Azaan from the window u would get a reward for good intentions, as sunlight and air would get inside,, if you don’t Intend even then u can get them, but on your good intension to hear the voice of azan you could get both, reward from Allah and air with sunlight from the window … So dear kids moral of this story is Always keep your intentions good to get rewarded for your actions. These Hadith peruse us to give charity so that we could guard ourselves against the hellfire. In daily life, we may commit many mistakes and sins knowingly or unknowingly. And Our charity is the best form to vapor our sins.The important part of this hadith for kids is that they should know what is the best charity. Allah’s Prophet guided us in this case that we may give very little things in charity. In another hadith, he said that picking a throne from the footpath is also a Sadqa. So we may not fear if we have nothing, we can give a good smile to others to get Ajer on that. When I pursue my kids to give to charity, I always motivate them to share personal things with others. Because it is really a hard job to do so for kids as well as adults. But if you do practice and overcome your greed and selfishness you may donate anything at any time for the sake of Allah.Once our Prophet said’ the best charity is food.’ So we should motivate our kids to share their lunch boxes, and their daily eatable things as well as they may donate other personal things. In the subject of the story of this Hadith, I choose the story of one of the Companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW Hazrat Abu-Talha RA. He was one of the great men. Once a guest visited him at night when there was very little food in his home. He asked his wife to extinguish the candlelight when they were eating so that the guest would think they were also eating. This is how they slept hungry that night. And Allah told his Prophet about this incident through a revelation. You can teach this hadith with a story to your kids with the help of story or video. The story: Excellamncy of Prophet Ibrahim and Darood I Ibrahim. For English Members: Hadith Explained_ Importance of Darood Prophet Muhammad SAW With the Hadees about Darood, we will teach our kids about the importance of Darood. All of us sent Darood when we listen or say The name of our prophet Muhammad SAW. But many of us don’t know that this is actually a prayer for the prophet and His Family. So our story of this Hadees will explain the background of Darood, Darood Ibrahim, and Salwat. As regards the story about the Hadith, there is no story that fits exactly our topic of the Hadees. So I decided to write it myself. In this story I will give some information about the Darood and prayers of Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Muhammad SAW for their children, family, and for their deen. Here is the outline of the story. Our prophet Muhammad SAW asked His Companions and His Ummah to send prayers because he wished he could get the Barakah in his children and his Deen like the Prophet Ibraheem was given. In the second step, The story explains that Ibraheem was a very noble man and Allah gave him Barak in children. Bayt-ul-Allah was also built by him. Allah was happy with him. But he got all this nobility and barakah after many hardships and trials from Allah. He was pushed into the fire, he left his house and father for sake of Allah. He was also asked to leave his infant boy in a desert, and then sacrifice his young son. After so many hardships Allah found him so sincere with his God and his deen. So Allah accepts all his sacrifices and prayers and sent many prophets into his family. Till the day of judgment, his footsteps will be followed by all Muslims during Haj and Umrah. And it is a compulsory part of our prayers to read Darood Ibraheem. Our prophet Muhammad SAW ordered all his Ummahs to send Darood(prayers)on him so that he may get that much barakah and nobility from Allah. And our prophet also wished to have a big number of Ummah so that he would get pride in having the largest Ummah of all prophets. So now it’s our duty to send Darood on our prophets as well as preach to others to accept Islam so that Muslim Ummah would increase in number and It would make our prophet proud. What is Haj and Eid ul Azha? Haj and Eid Ul -Adha is a very great, famous holy festivals in Islam. Muslims celebrate eid with great excitement. But the 10 days of the month of Zulhahajah are also very important for every Muslim. Many lucky Muslims perform Hajj during these days. and the rest of them do good deeds to get ajar from Allah staying at home these days. Fasting, Azkaar, and slaughter are the worship manners of Muslims. But what for kids? To teach the importance of haj rituals and the holy month of Zulhajah, and to connect and remind them of the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim, Muslim parents also do many activities with their children. Knowledge of Eid and hajj is also a part of the Islamic education of Muslim children. As Islamic education and Quran teachers, we also decide to teach pillars of hajj and stories of the Ibraheem and Ismael A.S to our kids, we conducted a contest for our students and the children of the parents, who follow us. How did we announce the Hajj/Eid 2020 contest? Many Thing has been changed☘️. Many new things are happening this year. We could not celebrate our religious ceremonies like we were into them. People are spending more time on devices. And I know you are watching Many Eid and Hajj activities, books, and videos made for kids. But somehow this is a little hectic and indulging mothers in guilt that their kids are not doing as much as others are doing. Don’t worry. Everyone is in this situation. No one is doing everything. But believe me, we could do something for our kids. From devices back to the table and from the table back to devices, this Group is providing you with an opportunity. Here is a contest for kids. Please make sure your kids take an active part in this contest. Good thing is that, for Urdu kids, we will give three drawing hard books to the best creators. So we should overcome these habits. So we are doing these three Ahadith in a series. Please explain all these three sicknesses to your kids very clearly. And also empower them to leave these three habits after watching and learning these Ahadith. I’m explaining little here. Angriness:- It is the first stage of sickness. Where a person gets angry about every little thing about everyone. He can’t control his angriness and hurt others with his/her behavior. Read hadith and the story about anger here. jealousy vs Envy(Hasad):- It is the second stage and in This stage, a person starts to have inner feelings of angriness and jealousy/envy. He can’t control his/her feeling. He lives in a pity condition. He feels hate every time. He can’t see others happy and content. He can’t watch the blessings and luxuries of others. And In this feeling, he loses his own happiness. Because he prays for others that they May lose all that they have. He becomes more unthankful of Allah and others. Read Hadith and the story about envy here. Grudge(irritation):- This is the stage where a sick man becomes more harmful. He tries to hurt others. He makes plans to give losses to others. And he digs pits for others and falls into them. May Allah escape all of us from this. Please read this to your kids. Explain it with translation. This is a short story about a boy, Asad. This short story for kids will teach that, Give thanks to people, so that you may be in the habit of giving thanks. Being thankful to people increases love for one another and Allah is pleased too. Hadith Dear children, Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: ‘He is not gratified of Allah, who is not grateful of people ‘ Story of Grateful Asad Asad and Ahmed reached the school almost at the same time. Their vans were parked parallel to each other. Asad got out of his van and said a loud ‘JazakAllah khyara uncle, Ahmed looked at him with surprise. The same thing happened when the guard opened the gate for them. Ahmed just entered the school without paying attention while Asad stopped and greeted the gatekeeper with a big warm smile followed by a ‘thank you. Ahmed secretly admired his friend for being thankful to the driver and the gatekeeper and silently made a promise to himself to practice the same the next morning. He was engrossed in his thoughts when the bell rang. It was lunchtime already, The children were playing football when the ball accidentally hit Asad’s lunch box. The pasta was all on the ground. Luckily he had eaten most of it already but it still made a slimy mess all over the ground and Ahmed went out to eat their meal, his pasta fell to the ground where the cleaner came and cleaned up quickly. So Asad thanked him and went to the classroom again, his teacher came and did the rest of the school work. When he left, Assad called him Jazak Allah. And the two of them went home after off time. the next day when they came to school again. Asad did the same to say thank you and jazakAllah to everyone from the watchman to the canteen uncle. Ahmad noticed that during the playing game, Asad was used to saying thanks to friends for every bit of action. When Ahmed asked him why you thank everyone or Jazak Allah even though there is nothing to thank him for. It must be paid because it increases one’s love and the other rewards God. Do you think to yourself if our teachers do not help us and do not explain to us, how can we get knowledge on whether it is necessary to call Jazakallah or not? Likewise, if the cleaning uncle does not clean up, who will clean up the school as much as we mess it up, then thank them first. Likewise, the watchman, canteen uncle and the driver’s uncle all help us, so we should thank them too. This will make them happy and we will get a reward from Allah too. Ahmed said, “You are saying the exact thing. I never thought that.” Asad, How good are you from whom have you learned all this? Asad said that I learned all this from my father and mother. They say that we should thank all those who work for us in our homes. We thank them when our Ami Jan makes food for us. Likewise, when Aba Jan comes to the market with our necessities and food, we thank him too. Amy Jan says that if we get used to this, we will also thank Allah who gives us every blessing without saying. Ahmed said, “Well then I will do the same today.” But tell me another thing. Assad said, “Yes, Ahmed must ask. What do you want to ask?” Ahmed said, “You call the teacher and friends Jizak Allah while you thank the sweeper Uncle and the watchman Uncle. What is the reason for this?” Asad said because both uncles are not Muslims so I say only thank you, and It is not enough to thank the Muslims Therefore simply, they should say ‘Jazak Allah’ which means that Allah will reward them for it. It is also a prayer and a reward. Ahmed said, “You have told me very well. You are my very good friend.” Then both of them went home while talking to all these. Dear children, From today onwards you have to adopt this habit and be grateful to Allah as well as to people. We also have to help others learn good things and get rewarded. She always lives in dirty clothes, She often doesn’t care about hair and would leave them uncombed. Her teeth were getting yellow because she does not brush them for days. She had many servants and maids who were ready to offer their services. Instead of asking them to clean her room, her clothes, and her closets, she would play all the time with her maids. So her room was also dusty and dirty. Her mother queen also spent more time on other activities. So there was no one to guide her. Once they had a family trip. They camped near the beautiful bank of a river. They were enjoying themselves. The servants were cooking and serving food. After a meal everyone started to wander here and there, Everyone was busy with their favorite activities. King started to play polo. The prince also went for a walk with the maids of her age. They go for a run on the bank of the river. They showered water on each other. she took off her shoes. Their clothes were wet. Then they plan to play hide and seek with her maids. She went too far from her camps and got lost. She wandered here and there to find her camping but no use. Now she was worried. She was running around. And in this interval, she was too far from her camp. Her clothes were now dirty and had holes in some places. But she did have no problem with it. She was also hungry. Finally, she reached a village. She saw a hut outside the village. She went there. She found there an old man and an old woman. She told them that she is lost. She also told them that I’m a princess. My parents must be searching for me But the night is here. I want to shelter and some food to eat. Please allow me to stay with you. The old couple looked at each other. They do not believe them because of her dirty look. Her clothes were dirty and torn Her hairs were uncombed. Her nails were long and dirty. Both of them thought she must be lying. And she could harm them. But they do not want to say no. Because if she would be a princess as she is saying, then her father king May harm them for not helping his daughter. They were in big problems. Finally, they allowed her to stay with them. They were judging her and were alert for any situation. She did not eat happily because the food was unlike her royal style. Then she went to sleep. But she could not sleep. Because the bed was so hard. She was missing her soft and comfortable bed. Old people were observing her restlessness. Now they believe that she is really Princess. So in the morning, they asked her how was night. She said I can’t sleep overnight. Your beds are too hard. They smiled and said, Ooo poor girl you are a princess. We know our home and facilities don’t meet your status. Now it’s time to help you. Your family will be soon here, as we already had sent some boys from the village to find your camping place. But we want to say something. Ohh how kind are you? I’m really very thankful to you. Yes please say what you want to say. The old woman said,’ Little, beautiful girl, you are very nice and beautiful. Allah made you perfect. I must say you to take care of yourself. It would help if you always kept clean and Neat. It’s Sunnah and half of our Iman. Allah Almighty is beautiful and he likes Beauty and cleanliness. You are a princess. You have many servants and maids to help you. But this does not mean that you live in such a rough outlook. Do you know we did not believe that you are a princess? The girl was regretting herself. She noticed that the old woman is poor but her dress was so clean, Her hairs were white and made nicely. Her house was also maintained. She promised that she will always remember her advice. In the meanwhile, Some horsemen came there with her Horsecar and she rides on it. She waved her hands and left the hut with a very good lesson. Dear kids, you all are also very beautiful and perfect human beings. So always try to live clean and well-managed. So that Allah will love you and reward your following His Sunnah.
