Making an origami phone and adding a brief description (essay) is one of the unique and cool homeschool activities my kid had done. Nokia 2000 made by the 7yrs boy. This is an age of It and Phones/tabs/computers, PST, and other devices that had already replaced many other devices. Outdoor games are getting ignored and sitting inside is muting many interesting hobbies day by day. The new generation(young children) is also under the deep influence of all these devices. But! What is the Role of homeschool activities to introduce a new generation with new technology as well as the right use of them? Parents are not in the condition of saying “No” to devices and technology. As Kids are watching to moms and Fathers they are spending more time scrolling iPhone! So! How A Good homeschooling is possible with good parenting Guide? Today we need to get more advanced and a step ahead to accept and molded new technology into rapid benefits. So I never push them to stop using these things. Yes, we have some strict rules and schedules to use it. That’s why my elder 7+ yrs boy and youngers are also dreaming to grow big and waiting for possible reach to the iPhone.(I’m very strict with them to understand that personal iPhone allowed just to adults, of course, they have a desktop). I would really like them to get mine for a short time. And in that interval using tricks I always motivate them to do creative things and learn useful things (Read my article about Best ideas to use iPhones could get here)With the iPhones. Now what the older one did? He made this origami iPhone using Paper and colors. I was in a condition of a shock to see him under that much influenced by iPhones. I was collecting words to explain why he could not get an iPhone at this age. But the next moment I praised his work. And discussed how he made this. He told me that ‘this is a Nokia phone. And I had made another one for younger brother’. And those both were flipping phone. So I can say proudly, home school activities provided him a big space to learn and grow. And using self-creativity he had made done a super job and his observation and memory were super high. No one around me is using a Nokia phone, but he watched that somewhere and using memory he had made a perfect phone with all the keys. The phone was pretty good. He was glad and I too. But this did not end. We were going to add a new home school activity with this. I asked him to write down the features(essay) of his Phone. And this was a great experience. His involvement in writing was pretty more than any other thing. He was writing and I was analyzing myself how much knowledge I can transform. Here is another picture of what he had written. (Ignore the writing as it was then not written to show off and also creativity doesn’t demand beauty) Essay My phone Nokia 2000 What he learned with this home school activity is:- Deep Observation. Exploring Technical things. Motor skills. Writing skills. Curiosity to learn more. Personalizing things. Featuring the products. Knowledge about phones. and obviously more confident. Besides, iPhone what other products or toys kids can make and write for them are….. Remote control cars,(Younger one had made pic is down) Calculators, Tabelphones, computers, Coffee maker toy, washing machine toy, Oven toy, radio, speakers, exercise machines, Aeroplan or rocket toys. Remote control car with the remote. Rockets Crafts. What do you think iPhones have a bad or good influence on kids? And What should be the Parent’s role to educate them about the benefits of other devices.? Share with us if you have more ideas about the activities that could be done like this. Parenting smart guide to develop study interest in children
Every person in this world of 7.5 billion Population has personality differences. They do not look same, talk the same way, nothing resembles with each other, even sibling is also not the same. Their individual needs are also different from each other. And when we talk about, learning level and study skills, it also could not be alike. In a young age, when a human-being start to understand the matters and getting familiarization with the things. This is the high stage of the observation and learning power. But birds are good in fly and monkeys jump, A caterpillar crawls and a kitten runs well. You can’t expect from a monkey to swim. Every child in the process of learning and personality development react on the way which may differ him from others. I have three children, 9 yrs,8 yrs, and 4 yrs. They are too young but their personality differences and interests are very controversial. Parenting is not to stop them from learning it is to encourage them to explore the world and grow with healthy minds set. Parenting is to be smart and catch every opportunity without missing any stone. Some of the methods are highlighted here for the smart guide of parents who are worried about less interest of their children in the study. Provide books of child’s interest, games, the bio of players, stories, geography, cooking, news, facts, engineering. DISCUSS curriculum problem issues and try to solve. Solve reading problem/ issues/ disability. Provide visual and audio tools. Plenty of light in the room and comfortable place. physical health Make an educational environment Encouragement Praise and appreciation Accept the child’s individual skills Make groups of 2/6 children Give tasks, Projects, Deadline. Stop comparing with others. Transformation is better than enforcement. Outdoor educational activities Educational trips A good routine Set up (scheduling/Timetable) Accept the computer as a necessary distraction and use some apps and software(list of help full apps) as well as a curriculum helping guide for your kids. Make projects/Plans and show excitement Breaks and period gaps in study Setting goals and offering reward after completing goals. Parenting is not ruling, forcing or pouring ideas on a child. It should be like a google search engine takes you to the content and map and direct one into the way but it cant force to must go ahead the same way. How are these helping guide ideas? Perspectives of a good Parenting of a Muslim baby
A good parenting demands devotion, sacrifice, emotional attachment, care, responsibility, and Love. A baby can’t demand, can’t speak and can’t show his needs, but he/she is ↲↳↳♥👅👅👅☖ listening/feeling/observing. A picture of these days is saving in his Memory. So the first year is most important to nourish or spoil his/her personal skills. Children are gifts from Allah. And Parents are responsible to raise a child and full fill His all physical, emotional needs as well as bringing him a good human being. A good parenting start from the very first day of his birth. Some parents ask me how? Probably, most parents think that parenting means upbringing a child with fulfilling physical demand calls a good parenting. If you also think this. I must say no, it’s not. Islam says a Muslim child has four rights towards his parent. When a baby born with all emotional and physical needs, spiritual needs also a part of parenting. Give him/her a good mother(Mary with good women so that she good give the child good qualities) Give him/her good name(Because name effects in development of a good/bad personality) Give him/her good education And marry him/her with a good spouse) It’s clear that Good parenting starts from the first day of birth when we give a baby a name and fulfill his/her other needs. And parenting ever lasts till the marry. Fathers and mothers will equally be asked about their children. Hence fathers maintenance to fulfill the physical and emotional needs and mothers are responsible teach values and in building good personality. Here we highlight some perspectives of an Islamiclamic parenting. 1.Spiritual needs of a Baby Pray for the baby and reciting of Quran in daily. Because in effect on the baby’s personality and keep him away from bad eyes and devils. Say Bismillah every time when you lift the baby, wearing clothes, Feeding and even if he fell down. Every work you do start from right side of wearing clothes and shoes, giving a toy in his/her hand, mother feed, combing Recite some Dua’s loudly for him like for drinking milk and feeding other foods or reply when he/she sneezes He is listening to you, and he is also observing everything around him to provide a calm, pleasant and religious environment around him/her. 2: Emotional needs a Baby Talk to him, he is listening to you, so you should always tell him you love him and also keep talking like…. Now we will clothe, now it’s time to eat, you are a very good baby, I love your smile, now it’s Time to sleep. And during other tasks also. Kiss a baby often. Research says, Research says kisses and love in childhood It decreases the chances of mental problems in old age. in old age who was kissed and loved in childhood. Islam says be kind to children.Love them and have pity on them. Use kind words and your behavioral problem should not affect him/her. When baby starts crawling, provide a safe environment and say less to them.Instead, make them aware of the sequence. 2: Physical needs Baby Never leave him dirty. Whenever he does potty, pee or pour milk, do hurry to clean. This will give a baby good hygienic health, keep him/her away from devils and make his habit to live clean. Follow a good routine (use this feed CHART)of feeding, sleeping, and other playing Give him a good diet. Follow the good nutritional chart. should breastfeed for 2yrs. Use honey, eggs, milk, and wheat after 6months. Some babies contain allergic symptoms, so that do not use all milk products same time. Do massage before or after a bath and give bath daily. He totally depends on others so do not leave him/her unchecked when he starts to sit and also don’t leave him lay for a long time. WIFI and signal of other devices keep away from baby and room of a baby. Additional role of a father in good parenting As a good parent father should fulfil his/her emotional needs. I must say fathers are playing less role in the upbringing of a child. As the head of family fathers leave a deep impact on children’s personality and thoughts. And kids also live more obedient with fathers so they should play their strong role to prepare them for Sadqa-e-Jaria. And instead of ruling on them, give love and protection with a feeling of care. They should show their love for them and spend some quality time with them. And also set good examples for them How hard you find this article.
