This is an era of technology. Life is totally unimaginable without Mobile phone and internet devices/accessories now a day. If I would

say mobiles works like batteries in our life…….. It will be true. Every age and every field of our life devices are replacing other products.

And definitely, our new generation Is also under the effects of this addiction and it’s clear in future these will be more productive and demanding tools.
Willingly or unwilling we have to prepare our next generation for it.
But how?
Like every other single factor of life, mobiles also have positive sides, within all its negative sides.
Definitely children today getting addicted to phones, same as adults. Now what is happening, some parents don’t have any excuses with them, and kids are handling all the devices as a pride(with semi check and balance). And the other under mobile phobia parents are afraid of these devices and neglecting good uses of devices as well as the demand of the era.

I’m saying it with the responsibility that we as parents, are using just social media and getting addicted because we don’t have enough skills, we are not getting benefits from these devices. But our children could get great benefits from these devices. After our good guidance and molding their mind towards skills rather than wondering and wasting time on social media and spending time in games. ( games are good of course, and parents feel safe with them, but games are also spoiling. and have negative points, which will I may discuss in another post)

First of all some steps for their security.

1. Turn off Wi-Fi 📶 if the app doesn’t need it. Because Wi-Fi and other tools that work on signals are very harmful to children and their mind works less with this.
2. Use the kid’s corner…Many devices have these apps otherwise download from the play store. This app could help you with your privacy.

3. Make it clear to your kids that they could only get personal devices after turning over 18 like other licenses and social security diploma.

4. If they are using these tools for a long time sitting down… Set their position righteous so that their eyes 👀 and shoulder muscles 💪 get less stress.

Now let’s see, How some apps are helpful for children in learning?

1st app Cameras(Photos)

Taking photos is my most favorite and recommended habit. This is an app which children should use. So I always tried to develop their habit to take photos of everything and capture the moment…

But photos of what?

Mold their minds, give them indications, guide them towards their hobbies.

like:

1… Do gardening with them, and let them capture every step of seed to flower. A healthy hobby with extra entertainment and excitement.Where they would learn to grow vegetables, flowers, and fruits and later they will take photos to show others. The peak of excitement. This will increase their skill of focus capturing and come close to nature.

2… Let them Draw, things of their own Interest…..let them make a collection of drawing and save them into the eye of the camera.

3… Shoots from Nature...go outside there are a lot of bugs, bees 🐝, ants 🐜, butterflies, clouds, birds, leaves and there is vast nature. It will increase their curiosity. They will search, observe, and ponder.

4… Cooking...especially for girls..…Take them into the kitchen and make foods, ….. Try different recipes….and garnish them….and no need to say that they will learn the art of cooking, garnishing, working in the kitchen with other safety standards and then do photography. And definitely keeping the kitchen clean is the most focusing point to make good photos.

5… Selfies😄😆😈😡😟😕😔😉. Say them to take selfies with different emotions…like crying, upset, happy, shouting, loving,etc.…and then ask them to find the best emotion which they want to look like every time….very good thing to develop a charming, happy personality.

2nd app… Making videos film 🎥

Yes, this is also a very healthy and fruitful hobby or skill videos of what?

1… Go outside See working every single aspect of nature…like
working ants 🐜 in groups, Honey bee collecting juice from flowers 💐, How birds sit and fly,
2… Then ask them to do short dramas. You can buy some drama books to teach them how to act. or singing poems, or reciting Qur’an(Click for learning resources)
doing a speech, or whatever they are good in front of the camera and make video’s and then watch their own videos and practice…

I really love this.

3… Film Your good moments, parties, etc
save them into videos/Slide show
4… During travel, in the car 🚗 watching outside, make videos when a thing seems Running and coming close. It will be a bonus of excitement for kids. I do not like to talk much during travel. So I would feel relaxation if kids would be busy doing this.

As for writing journals, note’s or daily diary is favorite of all ages and it could never lose its value….same thing children could do with

There are many apps of drawing and sketching … Children who are good in and likes to draw can be engaged 💒 with them.

It’s so lovely. I wish I could go into my childhood again with these apps.

The Cave, Summer Craft to keep children busy.

The Cave….Summer Craft ….How to keep them busy and teach other things at the beach…

It costs nothing…. no cutting, sticking, No messed home, No wiping the garbage of Summer crafting……

Normally every one loves to go the beach in the summer for swimming and enjoying. …. and when visiting with small children, fun becomes a little more and also need to other things besides swimming….. some people enjoy making homes and castles with sand…. and some likes to through stones in the water or collect different colors of stone.

But how lovely the thing is whenever you do some fun activity you could relate it to some educational program …………and then children will not be playing and enjoying… but also children will learn much…

important is the thing that how to turn their mind towards any educational program and discuss something want to teach them … It will save time and potential… and believe me…. children learn in this way 100 times more quickly than at home sitting on a boring writing table or at school desks….

As summer crafts a lot of educational activities could be done

like:-

t summer craft/activity at the beach is collecting different types of shell and remembering the names of these shells.

and after that these shells could be colored and placed into a glass jar. people also like to make jewelry with these shells.

2nd Summer educational craft/activity at the beach is:

collecting stones and separate stones of each color.

3rd summer craft/activity at the beach is recognizing bigger/smaller stones. And same like that heave/light weight stones, different shapes of stones, and of course counting with stones.

4th summer educational craft/activity is

writing and making faces and shapes.

5th summer educational craft/activity is

Making cave with stones.

Last year was made by children of me and they loved and ejoyed it.

No, what I did?…..

We were collecting the stones

We were building cave

We were competing with arranging them

We were talking about the different colors of stones….

We were remembering how the people of ancient times used to live in the caves

And the most important thing was…We had discussed and covered our two stories from the Quran.

Summer crafts idea’s for children… How to make a bunch of grapes with beans and cotton

It’s a grape plant with the bunch of grapes. It was made by 5 and 6 years students under the topic of summer fruits, motor skills, and fruits of heaven. As the teacher was teaching about the production of wine in the nursery class. And as a Muslim mother, I felt it’s my duty to make them clear that wine is prohibited in Islam and also relate it to benefits of eating grapes and how they grow etc. Please ignore the flaws, as this is the best attempt of six/five years boys.

To make this plant we need
1. Crafts paper to make leaves and branches
2. Ice-cream sticks to make a hanging wall
3. A plastic bottler or little vase
4. Some beans
5. and green piece of cloth
First Of all cut green cloth into small round pieces,

take some beans and sew green cloth around the beans …. and sew attaching them with each other… they will look like branch of grapes.

It will look like this

No make a back wall with ic-cream sticks……. Adjusting them in zig-zak

with the help of UHU and make some leaves and branches with green card paper and make a plant on the back wall… and also grapes ….then take a bottle or vase and put it in it..

This is really a fun activity… just play , learn and do…

A plastic bottle small aquarium.

This is a Simple bottle aquarium Made by preschool children…. Very easy to make

free and with disposable items

Thing you need to make it
A white plastic bottle

Some small stones

Finger color

Paper to draw fish

Water

UHU

How to make?
Cut plastic bottle into the half, Be sure it corners are harmless.

Color stones blue, sea green and brown

Make fish of different sizes and colors on a paper and cut them out

Now add some water and colored stones in the bottler and some drops of blue color to make water bluer.

Now be sure the bottle is drying from out side

and at the last, you will stick fish on all round sides of the bottle so that they look like floating into the water.

It is very simple to make
children love activities like this…and also continuously keep talking with children .

About sea

nature,

fish, fish foods,

fish are our food,

fish lays eggs,

bigger fish eats smaller fish,

they can’t live with out water,

how we could keep clean sea and rivers for the sake of fish

and other animals live in the water,

How to Make a Beautiful beach house?

Free to make…and very creative model to make children Frank to nature.

Summer craft Beach house with Avery beautiful view, a place where everyone wishes to live. Hours could be spent outside with complete leisure.

I had made this with my two kids and they enjoyed it much… then it was sent to their nursery school and it is still there for the inspiration of other parents….. It looks so cool and a dream point view … you must try it. I bet you will always love to save it and will never throw out.

Things we need to make summer crafts, a beach house

A square or rectangle box ( shoe or fruit box)with normal height

Some ice-cream sticks to make side wall

Paper for covering the box

Some big stones to make hills

Small stones to make footpath as well beach

Finger colors

Card paper or green plastic bottle to make plants

Small ball and net toy to make court

Paper roll and egg tray to make a house( or any thing you want to make house

UHU stick

Make a small house and color it

Cut cardboard or plastic bottle into small slices to give it plant’s shape

Glue the paper outside of the box white or colorful

take ice-cream stick and make boundary attaching them to all sides of the box

Then to make ground well-spread sand stones or and hard paper Put the house in on corner and make a foot path from house to another side

And color blue one small area to make a beach.

And other bigger side you will color green to give it look of a lawn or playing ground.

Make some fish of paper paste on the blue water area (if you wish)

and Color a little area to make grass lawn to sit, There could make table tennis or foot ball court or any other game

sitting desk/chairs, swing, slides for kids whatever you like

Now finally leave bigger stones along side the house and in other corners where you want to give a hills look

Your Summer craft is ready… you can put it on the corner table or corner rack or any other comfortable place to put it on.

A birds nest with eggs.

In summer all the birds make a nest and lay eggs and hatch them. Summer is the best time when children could observe How birds make nests and how the baby birds look like. In this summer craft, Children will learn the life cycle of birds.
For kids, it’s a fun Summer crafts/activity to search bird nests without touching or spoiling nest.

Children will observe, how the birds spaciously sparrows collects husk and sticks to make nests. And where they most like to make nests.
And after that birds lay eggs in it… And from hatching to baby birds it’s all a fun activity.
In the Islamic point of view… This summer craft we relate stories from the Qur’an.
1. When a Dove lays eggs in the nest at the time of Prophet Muhammad SAW.
and other birds mentioned in Qur’an in different stories could be discuses.

How to make a nest As Summer craft?
Things we need for this summer craft:-

1. Ice cream sticks to make back boundary or bushes wall

2. Card paper to make leaves

3. A sparrow made with card paper or ready-made kids toy

4. Husk and grass sticks to fill nest pot

5. Small balls t make eggs

6. Around or oval small pot to make the nest

7. Playdough to decorate it.

First of all, arrange ice cream sticks like a sheet and stick them with paper tape or anyone else. then cut some leaves and little branches and decorate them alongside the sticks see in the picture.

Then take any pot and put some husk grass or little stick in it like a nest.

Then take some small candy balls or any other in different colors or white whatever you like.

If you don’t have balls it could also be made with playdough or flour or beans.

With a play, dough makes some little decoration beans, buds or lines and stick downside of the pot to give it a crafty and colorful look. Buttons and jewelry beads also could be used as the second option.
In the last, attach leaves and stick wall with the nested pot.

Put eggs inside the nest .

Also, make a sparrow of card paper and stick with ice cream stick or

Take a toy sparrow and keep inside the nest. Or Make a sparrow yourself with dough, paper or card paper.

Summer craft, a bird’s nest is ready.

These 6/5-year boys are drawing cars and have a wonder full art collection of sports/game cars.

Art is fun, and every body is not good in it at all.

Some people make their own collections and others follow them. But I must say only Puppets follow and act upon the other’s dialogues but Real thinkers and creators always create things do what they feel and think.

12 Bridges best models of engineering art and crafts/Projects

Engineering crafts are forever favorite projects. And for car lovers making bridge, roads and transport crafts is like digging into deep involvement.

Here is a collection of engineering crafts of my school. And it is combined for homeschooled and school going kids to choose one of their interest and start work according to personal skills.

1st Pic.You can find three bridge. The first bridge is made of ice cream sticks to foot cross a river. It looks very amazing and has a very technical method to make. and the second one is a Brittan style Car and vehicles bridge. It is a very wide and smart-looking bridge.

And the third one is made of Tissue roles and craft paper. It is made to make a border to separate two sides.

these crafts are the best sample of engineering. They are made to cross the rivers and two of them are joining two roads. They are approaching a shipping port. where downside we could see small boats are landing and visiting.
