    2. Supplementary Resources: Additional educational resources, such as workbooks, art supplies, science equipment, or educational software, may contribute to the overall expenses.
    3. Extracurricular Activities: Participation in extracurricular activities such as sports, music lessons, or field trips can add to the overall cost of homeschooling.
    4. Tutoring or Co-Op Programs: Some families opt for tutoring services or cooperative learning programs, which may involve additional fees.

    Global Comparison of Costs:

    1. United States: In the United States, homeschooling costs can vary significantly depending on factors such as state regulations, curriculum choices, and additional resources. Families may spend anywhere from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars per year.

    5. Other Countries: Costs in other countries can exhibit a wide range, depending on the local educational landscape, availability of resources, and regulations. Some countries may have government-funded homeschooling programs that reduce expenses, while others require families to cover all costs independently.

    Considerations and Cost-saving Measures:

    1. Secondhand Resources: Purchasing or borrowing used curriculum materials, textbooks, or educational resources can significantly reduce costs.
    2. Online Resources: Utilizing free or low-cost online resources, open educational materials, and digital platforms can help minimize expenses.
    3. Community Support: Engaging with local homeschooling communities, co-ops, or support groups can provide access to shared resources, group purchases, or discounted activities.
    4. Budgeting and Prioritization: Careful budgeting and prioritizing educational needs can help families manage homeschooling costs effectively.

    Conclusion:

The cost of homeschooling can vary globally, influenced by factors such as curriculum choices, supplementary resources, extracurricular activities, and local regulations. While homeschooling may involve some financial investment, it is possible to find cost-saving measures by utilizing secondhand resources, online materials, community support, and effective budgeting. Families considering homeschooling should assess their financial situation, explore available resources, and make informed decisions that align with their educational goals and budgetary considerations.

    🌷Aslam-O-Alaikum Dear members.🌷
Our today’s Hadees is Down 👇

The Topic of the Hadees of the Day is The importance of Salah.

3o short Ahadith for kids English and Urdu

Today we will teach our kids about the importance of Prayer. We all know that Namaz is compulsory, not optional, but only a few people offer their prayer. And those who are punctual, Their actions are also not according to true Muslims.
Prophet Muhammad SAW said, Pray Differs a Muslim from a kafir. If we want to guard our children against kufr and kafir then we have to teach them the importance and punctuality of Prayer. So that they would offer their pray like Shabah. So that they would get close to Allah and live a sin-free life. But the point to ponder is that, if our good Terbiyat makes them punctual to offer prayer and one from the parents don’t offer the prayer, then there is a high risk that our child would say us, kafir. So we should be punctual and sincere in our actions. Here is no leave from Salah. And if we will skip Salah for our other activities, then It is not Allah who needs us. He will also forget us. He will not feed us at the bed, but he will be kicked us away and we will get tired of achieving the goal for this world. The message of out today’s story is that the door of Jannah will not be opened without a key to Salah. And without Salah our all other good deeds will be wasted. Salah protects us from Shaytaan and sins.
Our today’s story is The friend of ALLAH and Devil. I don’t have the written content of this story. As I wrote this with the help of my memory. So I’m giving an outline of this story. Please read this story as a bedtime story for your kids. And make sure to write this hadith at any board or hang the t wall to memorize.
The outline of the story is
Once there was an old man. He was very poise and a true believer of Allah. Because of his Abadah, Good character, and helpful nature, Allah had made him His friend. Shaytan tried his best to indulge him in any sin but failed. He came to him again and again but his Salah was protecting him from shaytan. Shaytan was not happy that this old man would go into Jannah. So once he though a very powerful trick and he decided to do something to keep that old man away from Salaah. He comes to the old man in the face of an angle. He praised the old man. He said to him that Allah is very happy with you. And he sent me to you to give you news of Jannah. The old man was happy and asked again if it is true? He (devil) Said yes, and Also also appointed me to tell you that you are a true believer. You made me happy. Your struggle to help people and offering prayer on time was a trial and you succeed in it. So Allah says that now you are free to fulfil my rights. You don’t need to offer prayers. Instead, you should spend more time helping my people. The old man was not happy with this. He remains silent. He thought something and stood up saying, get away from here you bastard Shaytan. You are here to mislead me. It was you who denied fulfilling order of Allah. Allah had never said to his prophets to leave any prayer than how would give me permission to do this.
Shaytan was frightened and run away.
Tell your, kids, that shaytan comes in many faces to us and whispers us to not obey. But we have to say him no to become a good friend of Allah.

Three Birds three stories in the Quran

    • Stories with facts, crafts, verses of Quran and Interesting activities for children.
Stories in Qur’an are a big source of teaching moral lessons, universal rules, and

    Islamic Stories for children
facts of nature to kids. I personally use to read for them these stories to raise their interest in reading and understanding the meanings of Qur’an for strong bonding.
Qur’an Is for every age and every aspect of life. So for children, it has many interesting things. It has all science, nature, and fiction topics for children.
This summer we decided to read these stories in a different way. And the outputs are really good.
We started our journey of learning Quran from the Ayat of the Quran about birds and animals and their benefits and relation with human beings.
    In surat-al-Baqara, Allah SWA says:-
…….and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason. (164)
Then we had a general look at the names of animals, birds, and insects mentioned in the Quran. And the list was very long.
So we made a list of them in three categories, that is Birds, animals, and Insects.. I will add the names of all of them in a related category.
Here I would like to recommend you to get ready for unexpected questions from the children. They asked many minds unlocking questions to me like;-
If the horse is also mentioned in the Quran?
If my name is also in the Quran?
Where is a list of things I will get in Heaven?
Honestly, children are more clever than elders.
    Three Birds Three Stories.
Children were interested in Birds. So we started from the stories of the birds, mentioned in the Quran. In the Quran Word ‘bird’ is mentioned 5 times and the word ‘birds’  occurs 13 times.
Three birds are mentioned with their names in the Quran.
In the Quran, We find many Ayaats about benefits and general
    information about the birds.
Allah SWT says about the Bird:-
“Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up except Allah. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.”(Al-Nahal-79)
And Here are many other verses which invite us to look at birds and ponder the psychology of birds. We summed up all the verses of the Quran in a list and started our journey.
First of all, we made an outline of our field of storytelling sessions. We worked on this project in these steps.

    • Photography of some birds/nests in nature
    • Reading/listening stories
    • Marking the bird from the story
    • Numbering the benefits of Birds
    • Facts about that bird
    • The moral lessons of the Story (discussion)
    • Learning verses or just Dua(supplication) of the prophet.
    • Crafts/creative work(Shop here)

    Day 1. PhotoGraphy:-

Our First step was the photography of some birds and their nests from nature. That day was full of excitement. Nature, free time to spend outside and then finding birds and taking photos of them was the totally amazing experience of learning without getting bored.
Here are some photos of birds and nests, my young learners took.

Day2. Discussion About birds and their living style.

The next day we had a healthy discussion about the birds and their nests. How they make nests, what do they eat and how they fly. Life. The cycle of birds is also an interesting aspect of stories of the birds. We also discussed the airplane which flies like birds. Children were also wishing that They may also fly. And then I told them they may fly like a bird in a pursuit when they will grow up.
It was the time when I was able to make them realize that Humans are the best creature of Allah SWT in this universe.

    Day3. Benefits of the Birds.

Making the list of the benefits of the birds was also incredible work…
    We found these benefits;-`
    • They give us food
    • They eat insects so our world is saved from a huge quantity of insects.
    • They are also a natural source of spreading the seeds of some fruits and herbs from one to another place.
    • They also make our earth beautiful.
    • In the last, every bird has individual facts which will be described in three birds and their stories.
    Islamic stories for children

And then we entered into our next doorstep. And this level was labelling the birds mentioned in the Quran with the name. We found three Birds mentioned in the Quran named:-
    1. Crow  (Surat al Maida. In the story of Adam.A.S)
    2. Swallow(Ababeel)   ( Surat Al-Feel.  In the story of Elephants)
    3. Hud (Hoopoe) (Surat AL-Namal. In the story of Hazra Suleman A.S)

    Day4. Story telling

This was the day we started our story session.
We Started our 1st story that was the Story of Hz Adam A.S. Children are listening to these stories almost from the lap, so I tried to involve them in these stories. some important points and the morals of the stories were discussed in our storytelling session. Our focus was on the bird mentioned in That story to keep them interested in this story.

Day5. Facts of the Bird of each story.

Facts of that bird. Then we entered into the world of those birds and watched some videos about the facts of that bird. Children were happy because they got new information about the birds.

    Day 6.Crafts and creativity.

Now children have much knowledge and information. So in the end, some creative work and craftwork was done. video of easy nest craft is added now down.

You can also do it. If someone is much interest to get a collection of Ayats about birds and animals then leave a comment.
Soon I will publish the stories and individual work on every story and bird.
Now it’s your turn to let me know how much are you interested in getting my next story in the Quran with creative work and
    information?
Please leave a comment if I forget to add something.

    Math lessons for preschoolers.

When we talk about Math lessons for pre-schoolers don’t mean to give
a high burden curriculum books or a tight schedule to teach. Maths and numbers could not be put into the brain by dumping or pumping.

Some children love to play with numbers but other gets confused when its time to figure out values and numbers. And in the end, they start to hate the numbers. All feelings about math start to develop in early childhood education when a child starts learning. A little mislead could dig them into number phobia and smart help could make them math genius.

  • Tips with free recourses to start early childhood education program,

As a mom of three and a teacher, I’m feeling happy to share my experience of start of  early childhood education program which was a great and this method worked for my children.

    early childhood education program.

When a parent blessed with a baby they also bless with love, care and worry about a child, A child gets all the emotional, physical and social needs from his parent.
Parents do their best to raise the child as a successful and complete person.
Education would be their first priority when a child grows and of course, everyone tries to do their best to fulfil this duty.
But dear parents/ guardians if you are accepting the responsibility to educate your child and decided do it pre-schooling yourself at home. You must have to know that an early childhood education program is such a big and challenging task. Teaching and transforming knowledge with perfect method and  educate your child like a complete personality is not as much easy task as everyone could do it. It is a very sensitive department. And it also needs a proper guide and full training.

As Parents spend much time closer to their child so they already know the nature of their child very well. That’s why with a proper guideline and a little training about early childhood education programs, they could get a high level of good performance.

Here I will go through intro how to start an early childhood education program at home.
There are three basic learning resources in this age.

    Learning Methods

    1. The child will learn what he/she will listen to.
    2. The child will learn and do what he/she will Watch or experience.
    3. The child will learn with little speaking/conversation and exploring different things.
      early childhood education programm

    early childhood education programm
Using these three resources we try to get connect our child towards learning. We will start from things of their interest. Some kids listen more and others would have exploring and curious nature. So If child would like to listen and talk more, We would need video resources, story books and more time to talk with them.

But for curios children this method is best thing of interest.

    What to teach?
Here is a list of things we have to teach in this age.

    early childhood education programm

    • Colours,
    • Sizes
    • Shapes and faces.
    • Nature and seasons.
    • Near and far.
    • Right and left sides.
    • Count and numbers.
    • motor skills
    • Basic Alphabets and their sounds(phonics)

    How to teach?

All you need to do is Understand the mood and nature of your child. Then use a good tone of voice and an interesting way of communication with your child. From a young age of 3 to 7, every child is a self-learner. So you should be here to support him in learning and providing him/her with good resources to learn, not to stop them from self-learning and following your footsteps. Being a tricky person all you need to do is say yes when they want to ask you some thing. Be there with them to give answers. Nature is full of learning resources . Don’t miss any opportunity to teach them about things, sizes, colours explore world.

    My Personal experience of Teaching

My kids always learned much in a playground or park but also in the kitchen, drawing room and even in the washroom. Yes in the wash room the goes into a different world.
So,  I taught colours to them using fresh fruits and vegetable. I had used my fingers, clothes of My Husband and children to teach them sizes.
Same like that they counted the beans in the kitchen and flowers in the Garden and Birds in the air and doors of the room which also kept them busy for a long hour.
Now I will give you some tips to make and use free resources.

    Tips to make free resources

    • You can draw big flower and ask them to count petals and colour. Than ask them to write numbers or trace for them to write.
    • You can make origami boats, fish, aeroplanes, photo frames and many other things of different shapes, sizes, colours. This will also help them to name colours, and learn sizes.
    • Use a paper/cardboard to make puzzel cards again of different colours and sizes so that child can match colours, sizes Numbers and pattern.
    • Water bottles/lids, popsicle sticks, disposable cups also help them to Learn.
    • Give you child some newspapers and a child friendly scissor and ask them to cut just fruits or flowers or favourite foods and past on a paper. This will help them in motor skills increase their memory. They would also be able to understand difference between different things.
    • Play dough is Big source of teaching for me. I had used it in many ways and still I’m using it.

  • How the role of worksheets is turning into child labour in schools.

This is Monday morning and I’m sitting in front of my laptop after dropping my kids at the school. I’m in the condition where I’m forced to think that if a bundle of worksheets and written homework on the weekends are like a child labour in the schools.

    Worksheets or child labor

Don’t mind if you are doing this as a teacher or parent of a home-schooled I’m explaining here why I’m thinking in this way. He returned from school with 9 worksheets and one notebook to be written on weekend.

    Worksheets or child labor

After Friday prayer they reached home and after some snacks, it was evening(about 1.5 hr left to be night)  and asked them to go outside for some week relaxation and friends gathering. As I also feel a little freedom of no work like all working days. So all the homework was pending for the next two off days.
At morning after breakfast, all the friends of them were waiting outside so they went and Done many healthy activities and enjoyed much. Noon was the time to study and in the evening they left for the mosque. And Sunday morning again Was the time to play outside as Baba was also at home, they played more than Saturday.
When at the study time they sit to do homework younger one who is in the grade one told me, ‘mom I have many worksheets to be done today’.

Worksheets or child laborWorksheets or child labor

As already prepared children and sharp kids in writing and reading with other activities, my two kids do all of their homework themselves. I just sit for a little time for check and balance. I was shocked with that a lot of worksheets.
When Baba told them that they are going to the Fun park, for him it was a time to write more faster. But for so young child of grade one, it was impossible to write all those in one sitting with having an excitement of going outside. So some were done and later after taking bath and eating food they were out And returned much tired. They went to sleep and Sunday ended up. He could not complete all the work.
And in this weekend routine, I didn’t mention another thing like reading of Quran, and religious oral activities I used to teach them at home.
So it was Monday morning he woke up at 6, wrote all three worksheets and one notebook in about 35 minutes and then ready for school. Got a big thumbs up from Baba and mama for achieving the goal.

Worksheets or child laborworksheets, Child labor

It was a good experience for him and me as well.
But I’m in the feel of a little guilt.
As a mother, a teacher and as a writer, I feel it is another kind of child labour.
I think children should have no work to write for weekends. As they are writing for whole 5 working days at school and in the home as well. Weekend means weekend. It should be just for fun, doing oral and practical activities, to spend more time with family and friends, watching some educational and children fun videos, and outdoor games. My boy was ambitious, keen and prepared but what about the other kids who just started to grip a pencil and just started writing.
I want to hear from all of you,

    • Do you agree with me that a lot of writing work and worksheets are like child labour?
    • Do you also think weekends should be weekends for other activities not for writing and boring study schedule?
    • Do you think children learn more with playing, group activities, the family gets to gathers and fun activities?
    • Do you also think writing and reading is the best way to teach kids?
    • Are you agree with me, reading and writing could prepare kids just for sitting in front of desks, instead of giving life skills.
Leave your comments about the good or bad experience about worksheets. It’s a time to give a big no to child labour in the study.

  • 4 Easiest models for Transportation crafts your kids will love to make

Today my topic is transportation crafts my kids were most excited to make.
Kids are always curious and love to think and ask about things around them. Parenting means to fulfill all needs of children and in homeschooling kids miss school activities but could find more chances to learn and do creative things.

Today work on modern vehicles we use to travel. It’s a huge transportation topic and kids especially boys love to make or buy and play with cars trucks and construction vehicles. And at the same time, they also enjoy making roads, bridges, road slides and much more things. For that, we have made these Two simple transportation crafts. One is of elder one and the second one was made by the second one. They covered all four big modern ways of transportation.
We will discuss 4 modern ways of transportation which are
    • By Roads
    • By Trains
    • By Sea
    • And by air

    Things we had used are

    1. Thermacol board for making ground
    2. Papers to make origami vehicles
    3. Water colors
    4. UHU to the past

As for to travel by road, we use motor bikes, cars, buses trucks to travel fast.Bicycles are also being used to travel a short distance or as a hobby…. In this craft, we had made Road goes in the middle of the model with near by parking. And use any vehicle kids already have or made own with an empty box or thermal board and color it.

Second travel vehicle is Train and for that here is a train line going along with the road with a train. It looks so green area with small hills. Trains normally used to long travels from one city to another.
Third transportation vehicle is shipped to long travels from one country to another and small boats for domestic travels and for fun travel. For that in this transportation crafts here is one origami boat with a colored scene of the sea.
And in the last to travel by air, we had made an origami airplane with a huge airport building and a vast parking.

And as for the Second younger boy, he made it easier. It’s so small and cute with bright colors and full info about transportation.
    Transportation crafts

And this last one is already in our bridges and engineering crafts. I’m adding it here we had discussed it in four ways of travel in transportation crafts.

    Transportation carfts
I love The first transportation crafts because it has a full story inside it. To me it looks like, here is an airport where a plane is waiting for passengers, who are traveling fastly to come here by roads and trains and some others will land soon at the seaport and will pick any other vehicle to go to the airport.Am I right? share your feelings if you also things so, or if your imaginations also made any story with this transportations crafts. If you will like to teach you kids about transportation, which method will you use?my comment box is waiting to listen from you.

Homeschool kids find A flexible time to spend with parents as well as they could explore more thing of their interest. But with all of this, Homeschool kids missed a lot. with hanging on parents some times they miss social engagement, company, lack of age communication, lack of opportunities to learn in a natural way where kids have good or bad experiences.

    homeschool kids
And also I must say for young age its ok, but for a growing age, one needs many skills besides a curriculum or syllabus and religious studies. And parents or single tutor can’t be good educationist for all things..And some time lack of scheduling and improper management, homeschool kids can’t get all the skills at one place. In this regard, I ‘m going to make an outline of some basic skills our homeschool kids are in need. And our intention is to follow these skills in automotive ways.

    • Sign language

I thought to write about this language at first because I started with my elder as fun and later it became a good part of learning as well. And one day, when I was applying the face mask and was not speaking about a half hour so my elder was enjoying as well helping younger kids to understand me. It’s a very healthy activity and could be going to help to communicate with sign learners as well as distance communication.

    • Lip reading

Lip reading is a little hard to learn but it is a great fun to do. With siblings, friends or parents even watching tv programs just mute the sound and practice to under stand the what they are saying. I got this idea one of my cousins is dumb and deaf, and we were then used to wonder that sometimes she just understand our gossips after watching sitting nearby us.

    • Telephone directory and important no

Cell phones and personal devices do not save for kids but in case of emergency and self-safety Homeschool kids needs to learn how to operate basic phone apps and calling. And learn some important numbers like Fire brigade, police, ambulance services, numbers of parents, home, school, teacher, or any close relative. It will help them to ask for help in an emergency.

    • First aid

Kids need to know how to first add in case of a burn, cut or in case if any bug bits. First aid kit with safe tools inside should be on reach and then should be familiarized with medicines and tools with security.

    • Crawling

Children love to crawl like an army on the floor. But we parents don’t like and instead of encouraging we stop them for the sake of clothes. We should provide them opportunities to crawl, and also create some healthy crawling competitions for them. This activity is rich to make them grow with health, self-confidence, and good practice in case of emergency(to rescue in case of fire, bomb explosion, and leg wounds).

    • Swimming

Swimming is a fun activity and also the best summer outing looks spitless with out visiting a beach. But with fun, it is also necessary to teach them how to swim.

    • Road safety

How to cross the road, road signals and sign board of road safety is things to use daily for adults and children as well. Parents are always here to say yes to children, but grow them to take self-care as well. For this, we can make drawing about road signs, crafts for road signals and also visit a near by driving school.

    • Use of wash room

Some parents behave like more touchy for kids and do not leave them even to use toilet and washroom. This thing stoles confidence as well makes them so much dependent on parents that they can’t imagine to do these minor things alone. This is a very bad habit, and many parents feel very comfortable to help them always.

    • Basic self-feeding
Offcourse girls love to help in the kitchen and also like to learn recipes. And girls soon or later learn how to cook. But here according to the topic, boys too should be practice how to self-feed. they should be trained from very start how to wash and get fruits, milk, how to serve already prepared food, help on the dining table and then learn easy to cook foods.

    • How to escape in earth quake, flood, Fire Explosion

Rescue tips always helpful for self-safety and also to become a helping hand(voluntary). Like in an earth quake don’t run instead sit, take a quick step down to door or hide under a table or bed. And like wise others.

    • Self-defense

It’s Sunnah to organize some healthy fight contest between young ones. And then when we see around us, we could understand how this world is turning into miserable things because of some people. So children should be trained for some fighting steps and some self-defense steps, We can find kids fighting videos on youtube or other channels.

    • Knowledge/ Warning dangerous and harmful liquids and foods.

Every house has many medicines, liquids, and other products which are very harmful to kids. And all the products contain warnings tags on it. But just thinking that keeping them out of reach is not enough. We should give them full knowledge of how to use and how to avoid dangerous effects of them. Like some products we can’t smell, others contain gases and get fires, some time bottles contain such liquids which refilled with dangerous products. So you should warn kids and teach them what warnings are on them

    • Help in-house chores like mopping, dusting, and arranging cupboards

Almost every modern reductionist is trying to refocus to teach kids how to help in house chores. In increases self, confidence and children become less dependent. I remember in my childhood, more parents like my mom used to say students should focus their study and they do not get much time to help. But it had made me lazy and more dependent. This activity is also helpful in learning practical skills.

    •  Games and  Sports

Of course, students are getting sports training and competitions in schools and home as well. But for homeschool kids, it’s more important. They should attend regular sports programs as well as play ground gatherings. And at home games and other physical activities are also a part of the study

    •   Budget and Money management
All the parents give pocket money to their children. But some parents don’t know how to teach them to make a budget and manage shopping list. For that children should be involved in grocery shopping and discussed prices and also how to prefer to buy important things first.

    • How to over come on stress or loneliness

In the modern age, social activities are shrinking and use of devices and social media is more. Secondly, there is a big communication gap, as well as lack of confidence and patience, is making this world more stress full. So children need more communications and social activities. And in the case of any stress or other behavioral problem, they should be taught healthy activities and yoga treatments.
I had tried my best to combine all the basic skills for homeschool kids. Suggest my readers if I’m missing any one. Or share the skills your kids are good or bad in. Also, leave a comment about which method do you use to teach these skills?

  • Homeschool activities to teach Six rights of a Muslim towards other(part 1)Seerah series

One of my Reader asked me ‘Are there any curriculum that teaches the Seerah using themes rather than in chronological order? This would be for elementary level children.”

In this regard, I help her with some things which I usually do with my kids. I love to teach them in Six-ways,

    1. Crafts
    2. Drawing
    3. Plays/Games
    4. Videos
    5. Reading/writing
    6. Practice/Acting

The most popular and traditional source is Reading and writing. But it could not help kids of all learning types and also to young learners.
Here today I will tell you how I taught ‘six rights of a Muslim towards others’ through play/game to two of my kids.
A Muslim has five rights towards others. Those are:-

Homeschool activities.Sis rights of a Muslim

    1. Giving Regards when met each other(Aslamo- Alaikum, WaAlikumSlam)
    2. Answer him/Her when he sneezes and says Alhamdolilah(YerhamokAllah)
    3. Accept his invitation of dining with him.
    4. Visit him when he is ill.
    5. When he seeks to advise, advise him.
    6. Offer his funeral prayer.

We had played this game in two parts.

Part 1 Planning of a party and invitation.

    For this game we need

    • Two or more than two children. (siblings/friends)
    • For hosting:- A light party food arrangement(snacks, pasta, candies, biscuits, fruits or something light to serve) and the making of an invitation card or a toy phone to invite a guest.
    • Preparing a house/camp or table and chairs.
    • A card, a flower bouquet or any chocolate, etc to bring for the host as a gift.

So from this game will start and host child will prepare all things himself. And late he/she will invite his guest others will accept.

When guest will arrive and they will greet each other saying Aslamo -o-Alikum and the guest will say WaAlikum slam Wa Rahmatullah (It is Hadith…When someone will greats you return him as like that or more). It’s Sunnah that who will come from outside will greets first.

Guest will present gift and Host will accept saying, Jazak Allah.

And then they will sit and talk and serve food, and play games whatever they will like to do and how much time they would like to play.( Children will be followed manners of eating:
    washing hands
Bismillah and dua before to eat and after.

Muslim payers for eating food, Homeschool activities.

And the use of right side to serve food and right hand to eat.
And after eating Dua of the Barakah for the Host.Dua for the Host, Homeschool activities.
During this kids could also be asked to sneeze and say ALhamdoLilah And other will reply as YerhamoKallah.
And later they will leave each other and say again greetings like the slam or Allah Hafiz etc.So in this first game, they will cover first three Rights of a Muslim brother.

In this game, kids will learn,

    • How to give invitation(calling a making of an invitation card)
    • Offering regards(Aslam -o- Alikum/WaAlikumSlam)
    • Host children will do Party management(menu planning Preparing foods, sitting location and Home Decoration.
    • Prayers and manners of eating and visiting others.

Right down to us if you also play games to teach kids about Islam and Seerah.
Do you like this game and think it is worth playing and could help your children to teach many things? If there is any more simple step to teach?
Part two will be in next article.

  • Best ever home school activity. Teach kids to do Research, crafts it and write about products. And then give presentation.

Making an origami phone and adding a brief description (essay) is one of the unique and cool homeschool activities my kid had done.
Nokia 2000 made by the 7yrs boy.
Homeschool ActivitiesThis is an age of It and Phones/tabs/computers, PST, and other devices that had already replaced many other devices. Outdoor games are getting ignored and sitting inside is muting many interesting hobbies day by day.
The new generation(young children) is also under the deep influence of all these devices.
    But!
What is the Role of homeschool activities to introduce a new generation with new technology as well as the right use of them?

Parents are not in the condition of saying “No” to devices and technology. As
Kids are watching to moms and Fathers they are spending more time scrolling iPhone!
So! How A Good homeschooling is possible with good parenting Guide? Today we need to get more advanced and a step ahead to accept and molded new technology into rapid benefits. So I never push them to stop using these things. Yes, we have some strict rules and schedules to use it.
That’s why my elder 7+ yrs boy and youngers are also dreaming to grow big and waiting for possible reach to the iPhone.(I’m very strict with them to understand that personal iPhone allowed just to adults, of course, they have a desktop). I would really like them to get mine for a short time. And in that interval using tricks I always motivate them to do creative things and learn useful things (Read my article about Best ideas to use iPhones could get here)With the iPhones.
Now what the older one did? He made this origami iPhone using Paper and colors.
I was in a condition of a shock to see him under that much influenced by iPhones. I was collecting words to explain why he could not get an iPhone at this age. But the next moment I praised his work. And discussed how he made this. He told me that ‘this is a Nokia phone. And I had made another one for younger brother’. And those both were flipping phone.
    Homeschool activities

So I can say proudly, home school activities provided him a big space to learn and grow. And using self-creativity he had made done a super job and his observation and memory were super high. No one around me is using a Nokia phone, but he watched that somewhere and using memory he had made a perfect phone with all the keys.

The phone was pretty good. He was glad and I too. But this did not end. We were going to add a new home school activity with this.
I asked him to write down the features(essay) of his Phone.
And this was a great experience. His involvement in writing was pretty more than any other thing. He was writing and I was analyzing myself how much knowledge I can transform. Here is another picture of what he had written. (Ignore the writing as it was then not written to show off and also creativity doesn’t demand beauty)
    Homeschool activities
    Essay My phone Nokia 2000

What he learned with this home school activity is:-
    • Deep Observation.
    •  Exploring Technical things.
    • Motor skills.
    • Writing skills.
    • Curiosity to learn more.
    • Personalizing things.
    • Featuring the products.
    • Knowledge about phones.
    • and obviously more confident.

Besides, iPhone what other products or toys kids can make and write for them are….. Remote control cars,(Younger one had made pic is down) Calculators, Tabelphones, computers, Coffee maker toy, washing machine toy, Oven toy, radio, speakers, exercise machines, Aeroplan or rocket toys.

What do you think iPhones have a bad or good influence on kids? And What should be the Parent’s role to educate them about the benefits of other devices.? Share with us if you have more ideas about the activities that could be done like this.
