This is a short story about a boy, Asad. This short story for kids will teach that, Give thanks to people, so that you may be in the habit of giving thanks. Being thankful to people increases love for one another and Allah is pleased too.

    Hadith

Dear children, Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:

‘He is not gratified of Allah, who is not grateful of people ‘

    Story of Grateful Asad

    short story for kids

Asad and Ahmed reached the school almost at the same time. Their vans were parked parallel to each other. Asad got out of his van and said a loud ‘JazakAllah khyara uncle, Ahmed looked at him with surprise.

The same thing happened when the guard opened the gate for them. Ahmed just entered the school without paying attention while Asad stopped and greeted the gatekeeper with a big warm smile followed by a ‘thank you.

Ahmed secretly admired his friend for being thankful to the driver and the gatekeeper and silently made a promise to himself to practice the same the next morning. He was engrossed in his thoughts when the bell rang. It was lunchtime already,

The children were playing football when the ball accidentally hit Asad’s lunch box. The pasta was all on the ground. Luckily he had eaten most of it already but it still made a slimy mess all over the ground and Ahmed went out to eat their meal, his pasta fell to the ground where the cleaner came and cleaned up quickly.  So Asad thanked him and went to the classroom again, his teacher came and did the rest of the school work.  When he left, Assad called him Jazak Allah.  And the two of them went home after off time.

the next day when they came to school again. Asad did the same to say thank you and jazakAllah to everyone from the watchman to the canteen uncle. Ahmad noticed that during the playing game, Asad was used to saying thanks to friends for every bit of action.

When Ahmed asked him why you thank everyone or Jazak Allah even though there is nothing to thank him for.  It must be paid because it increases one’s love and the other rewards God.  Do you think to yourself if our teachers do not help us and do not explain to us, how can we get knowledge on whether it is necessary to call Jazakallah or not?

Likewise, if the cleaning uncle does not clean up, who will clean up the school as much as we mess it up, then thank them first.  Likewise, the watchman, canteen uncle and the driver’s uncle all help us, so we should thank them too.  This will make them happy and we will get a reward from Allah too.

Ahmed said, “You are saying the exact thing. I never thought that.”  Asad, How good are you from whom have you learned all this?  Asad said that I learned all this from my father and mother.  They say that we should thank all those who work for us in our homes.  We thank them when our Ami Jan makes food for us. Likewise, when Aba Jan comes to the market with our necessities and food, we thank him too.

Amy Jan says that if we get used to this, we will also thank Allah who gives us every blessing without saying.

Ahmed said, “Well then I will do the same today.”  But tell me another thing. Assad said, “Yes, Ahmed must ask. What do you want to ask?”  Ahmed said, “You call the teacher and friends Jizak Allah while you thank the sweeper Uncle and the watchman Uncle. What is the reason for this?”

Asad said because both uncles are not Muslims so I say only thank you,  and It is not enough to thank the Muslims Therefore simply, they should say ‘Jazak Allah’ which means that Allah will reward them for it.  It is also a prayer and a reward.

Ahmed said, “You have told me very well. You are my very good friend.”  Then both of them went home while talking to all these.

Dear children, From today onwards you have to adopt this habit and be grateful to Allah as well as to people.  We also have to help others learn good things and get rewarded.  This hadith has to be forwarded by all of you.  Then we will meet with another lovely Hadith and story.

Beautiful Princes| A short story for Personality development

Princess stories are always a good source to entertain children as well as to teach them good manners and morality. This story also has a lesson for children to learn to keep neat and clean.

    Beautiful Princess!

    princess stories

Dear kids this hadith is one of the attributions of Allah. If we see

into nature, We will see beautiful flowers, butterflies and many insects ta them, mountains, stars, and the moon in the sky, oceans, fruits, colors, and everything in this world is so beautiful. Babies and we also are the best and innocent creations of Allah.

Now it is our duty that lives very clean and keeps things around us clean our prophet Muhammad SAW was also the cleanest and most well-dressed person. So following the Sunnah will make us happy and also reward us to be thankful to Allah.

Once there was A princess who was very beautiful. Her parents took the best care. But she was very lazy. She always lives in dirty clothes, She often doesn’t care about hair and would leave them uncombed. Her teeth were getting yellow because she does not brush them for days.

She had many servants and maids who were ready to offer their services. Instead of asking them to clean her room, her clothes, and her closets, she would play all the time with her maids. So her room was also dusty and dirty. Her mother queen also spent more time on other activities. So there was no one to guide her.

Once they had a family trip. They camped near the beautiful bank of a river. They were enjoying themselves. The servants were cooking and serving food.  After a meal everyone started to wander here and there, Everyone was busy with their favorite activities. King started to play polo.

The prince also went for a walk with the maids of her age. They go for a run on the bank of the river. They showered water on each other. she took off her shoes. Their clothes were wet. Then they plan to play hide and seek with her maids.

She went too far from her camps and got lost. She wandered here and there to find her camping but no use. Now she was worried. She was running around. And in this interval, she was too far from her camp. Her clothes were now dirty and had holes in some places. But she did have no problem with it. She was also hungry.

Finally, she reached a village. She saw a hut outside the village. She went there. She found there an old man and an old woman. She told them that she is lost. She also told them that I’m a princess. My parents must be searching for me But the night is here. I want to shelter and some food to eat. Please allow me to stay with you.

The old couple looked at each other. They do not believe them because of her dirty look. Her clothes were dirty and torn Her hairs were uncombed. Her nails were long and dirty.

Both of them thought she must be lying. And she could harm them. But they do not want to say no. Because if she would be a princess as she is saying, then her father king May harm them for not helping his daughter.

They were in big problems. Finally, they allowed her to stay with them. They were judging her and were alert for any situation. She did not eat happily because the food was unlike her royal style.

Then she went to sleep. But she could not sleep. Because the bed was so hard. She was missing her soft and comfortable bed. Old people were observing her restlessness. Now they believe that she is really Princess. So in the morning, they asked her how was night.

She said I can’t sleep overnight. Your beds are too hard. They smiled and said, Ooo poor girl you are a princess. We know our home and facilities don’t meet your status. Now it’s time to help you. Your family will be soon here, as we already had sent some boys from the village to find your camping place.

But we want to say something. Ohh how kind are you? I’m really very thankful to you. Yes please say what you want to say. The old woman said,’ Little, beautiful girl, you are very nice and beautiful. Allah made you perfect. I must say you to take care of yourself. It would help if you always kept clean and  Neat.

It’s Sunnah and half of our Iman. Allah Almighty is beautiful and he likes Beauty and cleanliness. You are a princess. You have many servants and maids to help you. But this does not mean that you live in such a rough outlook. Do you know we did not believe that you are a princess?

The girl was regretting herself. She noticed that the old woman is poor but her dress was so clean, Her hairs were white and made nicely. Her house was also maintained.

She promised that she will always remember her advice. In the meanwhile, Some horsemen came there with her Horsecar and she rides on it. She waved her hands and left the hut with a very good lesson.

Dear kids, you all are also very beautiful and perfect human beings. So always try to live clean and well-managed. So that Allah will love you and reward your following His Sunnah.

Story 3| How to overcome anger?Hadith and worksheet.

Habeel And Qabil” is A short story for kids to overcome anger and jealousy with worksheets and the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW.

    Short story for kids

    Habeel and Qabil

    short story for kids

In Islam to get angry is haraam and anger comes from the devil.
The devil makes us angry person so that we do bad things which Allah (SWT) does not like and we can not enter into Jannah.
Dear kids today I will tell u a story of anger which is about the sons of Hazrat Adam A.S
Hazrat Adam A.S had two son’s Habeel and Qabeel.
They lived with love in childhood, but as they grew up they appeared opposite personalities.
Habeel loved to sacrifice in the way of Allah. He lived his life in a kind way by nature.
On the other hand, Qabeel was lazy, jealous, and discontent. He never spared the time to thank Allah .he always blamed others but not himself.
As the devil was making him hate his brother and other people. Qabeel thought that his father Hazrat Adam (A.S) do not love him, and loved Habeel more so Qabeel get jealous of Habeel.
Once both brothers were doing work on the edge of a large stone, suddenly Qabeel slipped from the stone, Habeel holds him before falling down and saved the life of Qabeel.
After this incident, Qabeel’s s hate and anger for Habeel decreased to some extent.
But soon the devil again started to make him angry and jealous of his brother, and now Qabeel becomes angrier and started to demand unfair things.
Then the time came to choose a Khalifa. Hazrat Adam A.S’s choose Habeel to become Khalifa by the order of Allah, but Qabeel got angry and demanded to become Khalifa and Had a fight with Habeel, then Allah SWT asked them to sacrifice their favorite thing in the way of Allah, one with the best sacrifice will become Khalifa.
As Habeel was a caretaker of animals so he sacrificed a very beautiful, healthy cow.
Qabeel was a farmer, he took rotten crops and fruits in a basket to sacrifice,
When they both put their sacrifice in an open area and came back, A light came from the sky and took Habeel’s s sacrifice. And Qabeel’s s sacrifice remained there as it is because Allah SWT did not like them.
It was Allah’s decision but Qabeel did not accept it and his hate for Habeel increased more, he started to tease him more and one day he asked his father I will marry the girl with whom Habeel is going to get married, his father refused and said ‘as she is your sister you can not marry her’.
Qabeel becomes angry and killed his brother Habeel.
Dear kids it was the first murder of any human on earth, so Qabeel did not know where to hide his brother, then he saw a crow digging another crow into the mud.
So he also buried his brother in the mud.
After it, Qabeel was regretful of it and thought that this crow is better than him. He loves his brother more and knows how to treat him after death, but now it was useless to regret, he could not become Khalifa nor get married to that girl.
Dear kids May we lose our loved ones when we get angry like Qabeel.
So let’s make a promise that we will act upon today’s Hadith of the prophet(PBUH), do not get angry.

  • The Story of a Robber. Free stories for Muslim children

The Name of the story is

     A Robber

This topic is a bit difficult but its story is very interesting.

This story is about a child and robbers.
Kids, do you know who are robbers?
A robber is a person who snatches things and money from others by power.
Once upon a time, there was a child in the old period who was taking basic  Islamic education. For further Islamic education, he had to go to another city Baghdad, as there were no vehicles in old age, it was difficult to travel from one place to another, people travelled on horses and camels in the form of groups called caravan.
The child’s mother sent him with a caravan for Baghdad.
Before leaving for the journey the mother gave some money to his son. She sew the money inside the pocket of his shirt to hide it so that no one can see it .
She also advised him ‘O MY child never to tell a lie. Always speak the truth, and study well there.
Dear kids as the journey was long, it took them many days to reach at the place. On their way one day the caravan stayed at a place near to the forest. When they were taking a rest a group of robbers came there. They went to all the passengers one by one and snatched the money from them.
One robber came to the child and asked ‘what do you have with you?’
The child answered ‘I have 40 rupees.’
The robber laughed and said are you joking with me? Because he thought that he was a little child, he could not have money. Dear kids!  40 rupees had a good value that time. So he went away.
Then another robber came he also asked the child what do you have. little boy?
The child said I have 40 rupees.
This robber also thought that he was joking so he went away.
A third robber came and asked the same question, the child said I have 40 rupees, the robber tried to find the money but could not get it. He got angry and took the child to his leader, and told him that this child is saying I have 40 rupees but he has no money in his pockets, he is telling a lie.
    The leader of robbers said!
O, little boy, do you know if you tell a lie I will give you a strict punishment.
Tell me where is your money if you have it?
The child said I don’t tell a lie, really I have 40 rupees.
Now the leader asked him to show the money.
The child said my mother sew the money inside my shirt. A robber came to check his shirt and found the money.
They were shocked to see the money, the leader said, ‘ O boy why you spoke the truth, when you could save the money from us. The child said no I could not tell a lie because my mother advised me to speak the truth no matter how much it is harmful to me.
The robber was surprised and said your mother was not watching you. You could tell a lie to us.
The child said,’ what if my mother is not watching me, my Allah is watching me all the time. If I tell a lie, Allah will not be happy with me.
After hearing this the leader of the robbers started to cry loudly and become unconscious. When he came to his senses he thought.
The child is so good and pious that he obeys his mother and have Haya and fear of Allah, but I am so unlucky that I grew old and don’t have any fear of Allah.
He felt guilty and cried a lot, he was not in his senses yet while crying.
After some time when he stopped crying and came in senses again he repentance of his sins and returned all the money to the people of the caravan.
After that, he started to live a good life.
The child also got his education and became a pious man and Allah’s servant.
Dear kids this is Haya that a person feels sorry and have fear of Allah all the time.
Dear kids If we happen to do something wrong. We should repent to Allah.
Feel Haya from Allah that he is watching us so that we can also become Allah’s servant.

  • Healthy Habits of Eating: Worksheet, Hadith, and Story for Kids

Healthy Habits of Eating: Worksheet, Hadith, and Story for Kids

This is a story of a child who lost his health because of his bad eating habits. This worksheet and hadith will teach healthy habits of eating to kids.

Dear kids today again I have a beautiful Hadith and a story for you. Today’s Hadith is about Using the right hand during eating and the Story is about ‘A hungry boy’

    Hadith:

    healthy habits of eating

    Sahih Muslim 2020: لاَ يَأْكُلَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ بِشِمَالِهِ

None of you should eat with his left hand

Dear kids after reading the topic of the Hadith you get to know that we should not eat with our left hand. What are the harmful effects of it and why we should not eat with the left hand let’s hear a story.

Story of A Hungry Boy: Ali

Ali was a good and well-mannered child, he always behaved well and respect others, he played and studied also on time, and everyone praised him, but dear kids after some time Ali’s habits began to change.

Now it happened that Ali focused more to play games, he always started to play with things especially while eating the food. He always had something in hand to play.

Dear kids whenever Ali had to at something, he took the mobile phone for a game or a toy to play with while eating or sometimes took the little cars to play.

He started to eat with his left hand so that he can play with his right hand.

Dear kids do you know that a devil eats with those who eat with the left hand, and if the left hand is used for eating the blessing of food is gone in the devil’s tummy?

One day Ali’s mother advised him that my dear kid,

Eating with the left hand is a bad habit, but Ali forgot to avoid it, and now he becomes habitual to eat like this.

Now, whenever he eats with the left hand a devil took his blessing of food, and it goes into the devil’s tummy.

Every time Ali ate food with his left hand and could not be satisfied, and still feels hungry, he becomes weak day by day. He started to eat again and again but the food was not enough for him, because he forgot the manners of eating.

    • He did not wash his hands.
    • He always forgot to say bismillah/ Alhamdolilah…………..
    • Never eats with the right hand
    • He started to play while eating

Devil was so happy because every bad habit of Ali was his favorite, the devil was becoming fat because every time he got the energy of Ali’s food.

Ali could not play more like before because he got hungry soon while playing and returned home.

So only he saw the kids playing outside from the window.

Dear kids his parents were worried about him but Ali did not listen to them and got angry every time.

He was out of control now, often he ate the food of his brother and sister as well, and even then he could not be satisfied, his story of hunger spread everywhere, and his relatives and family members could not make him satisfied by giving him food.

At last, somebody told his parents that the solution is to ask Allah’s devoted man. who could cure him mentally?

Ali’s parents took him to a wise Noble and Allah’s devoted servant. He heard his problem and said

Don’t worry, Ali has no problem, In Sha, Allah Ali will be alright in a few days.

The man asked Ali to stay with him and arranged food for him. When Ali started to eat the man said Ali you have to obey some terms before eating the food. Ali was so hungry for a long time so he asked me to tell him what terms I have to obey I can’t wait for it anymore.

The devoted man asked Ali to wash his hands first, Ali washed his hands quickly,

Then he said now recite bismillah………………

Ali recited bismillah……………..and then start to eat but

Remember you have to eat with the right hand

No matter how much time you take to eat it.

Ali recited bismillah……..and then started to eat with the right hand, he felt it difficult to eat with the right hand and was not comfortable, because he forgot this habit, as it was a strict term Somali continued to eat step by step with the right hand.

Dear kids this time the devil could not get a share of his food, the devil waited for Ali to at with the left hand so that it could be shared by the devil.

But the devoted man was sitting with Ali, Somali did not eat with his left hand and finished his meal and also got the satisfaction that his tummy is full now. the devil slept hungrily.

Dear kids the devoted man whenever gave food to Ali,

He ate it with his right hand.

Due to the devoted man’s wisdom, the devil runs away.

Ali started to eat food according to his hunger and on time.

Ali’s parents were thankful to the devoted man.

Ali also promised himself that he will never change his habit of eating with the right hand.

Dear kids you see how Ali was trapped by the devil due to his bad eating habit. If we want to be healthy and physically strong we should add these

    Sunnah’s healthy habits of eating:

The Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) includes various manners and etiquettes when it comes to eating. Here are some examples of Sunnah eating manners:

    1. Saying the Bismillah (In the name of Allah) before eating: It is recommended to start each meal by saying “Bismillah” (In the name of Allah). This serves as a reminder of gratitude and seeking blessings from Allah.
    2. Eating with the right hand: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged eating with the right hand and using the right hand for other noble actions. It is considered more hygienic and respectful.
    3. Eating from what is closest: It is recommended to eat from what is closest to you instead of reaching for food far away. This promotes moderation and consideration for others.
    4. Eating in a seated position: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised eating while sitting down, preferably on the floor or at a low table. This posture promotes better digestion.
    5. Eating with three fingers: It is recommended to eat with the thumb, index finger, and middle finger, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would often do. This helps in controlling portion sizes and promotes mindful eating.
    6. Eating together: Whenever possible, it is encouraged to eat meals in a group or with family members. This fosters a sense of community and strengthens family bonds.
    7. Thanking Allah after eating: After finishing the meal, it is recommended to praise and thank Allah by saying “Alhamdulillah” (All praise be to Allah). This expresses gratitude for the sustenance provided.
    8. Not wasting food: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized avoiding wastefulness. It is encouraged to take only what is sufficient and to finish the food on one’s plate, being mindful of those who may be less fortunate.

These are some examples of Sunnah eating manners that are recommended for Muslims to follow. By incorporating these etiquettes into daily meals, one can align their eating habits with the teachings of Islam and promote mindfulness, gratitude, and moderation.

    Other healthy habits of eating:

Developing healthy eating habits is crucial for maintaining a balanced diet and promoting overall well-being. Here are some key healthy habits to incorporate into your eating routine:

    1. Eat a variety of foods: Aim to include a wide range of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats in your diet. This ensures you get a diverse array of nutrients.
    2. Portion control: Pay attention to portion sizes to avoid overeating. Use smaller plates and bowls to help control portion sizes and listen to your body’s hunger and fullness cues.
    3. Eat regular meals: Establish a routine of regular meals and snacks throughout the day to maintain consistent energy levels. Skipping meals can lead to overeating or making unhealthy food choices later on.
    4. Include fruits and vegetables: Make fruits and vegetables the focal point of your meals. They are packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber while being low in calories. Aim for at least five servings of fruits and vegetables daily.
    5. Choose whole grains: Opt for whole grains such as brown rice, whole wheat bread, quinoa, and oats over refined grains. Whole grains provide more fiber and nutrients, promoting better digestion and overall health.
    6. Limit processed foods: Minimize the consumption of processed and packaged foods, as they are often high in unhealthy fats, added sugars, and sodium. Instead, focus on whole, natural foods.
    7. Drink plenty of water: Hydration is essential for various bodily functions. Drink an adequate amount of water throughout the day, and limit sugary drinks and excessive caffeine intake.
    8. Cook at home: Preparing your meals at home allows you to have control over the ingredients and cooking methods. It enables you to make healthier choices, such as reducing added sugars, unhealthy fats, and sodium.
    9. Limit added sugars and salt: Be mindful of your sugar and salt intake. Read food labels and choose products with lower amounts of added sugars and sodium. Opt for natural sweeteners like honey or fresh fruits instead of refined sugar.
    10. Practice mindful eating: Slow down and savor each bite. Pay attention to the flavors, textures, and sensations of the food you consume. This practice helps you become more aware of your body’s hunger and fullness signals.
    11. Plan and prepare ahead: Plan your meals and snacks in advance to avoid impulsive and unhealthy food choices. Stock your pantry and fridge with nutritious options to make it easier to stick to your healthy eating goals.
    12. Seek balance, not perfection: Remember that healthy eating is a long-term lifestyle approach. Allow yourself occasional treats or indulgences while focusing on a well-balanced diet overall.

It’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian for personalized advice based on your specific dietary needs and goals.

  • An elephant and a lion.The Story about grudge(Irritation

    Dear kids
our today’s Hadith is about Grudge (irritate)
Dear kids grudge is also a bad habit like anger and jealousy, I hope that you tried to control it.
In Sha Allah today we will learn about grudge and then we will try to get rid of it also.
    Let’s read the Hadith first.
    Our prophet (PBHU) said

Dear kids the story related to today’s Hadith is about
    An elephant and a lion.
Dear kids grudge is very bad illness, which can make a loss to us, grudge is this that all the time we feel hate and jealousy in our heart for someone but with all these we also try to do something bad for them, sometimes it happens that we do something bad for others but caught himself in it. By doing so we waste our time and energy. As it happened with an elephant in today’s story.
    Dear kids
Once upon a time there was an elephant in a forest(jungle) and a lion.
The lion was the emperor of the forest, the elephant had a grudge with the lion because the lion gave orders to all other animals of the forest, the elephant does not like it. He wanted the lion to get out of the forest but he could not do so, as the lion was emperor of the forest and also powerful.
One day the elephant thought that like this I could not get rid of the lion but I can do such a trick that the lion gets trapped in it.
He started to dig a hole in the way of the lion from where he used to walk around daily so that the lion fell down in it and could not come out.
The elephant digs a big hole with his long beak and put narrow sticks of wood and leaves on the top of the hole so that the lion can not see the hole. After it, the elephant sat away on one side to wait for the lion to come and fell into the hole.
But dear kids that day the lion went away from the forest for some work so he did not came in this way, And then lion did not come on that way for some days..
The elephant gets disappointed. But he was happy that the lion was not there. A few days later the elephant forgot the hole himself..
Dear kids one day the elephant passes from this way and fell down into the hole. Now he was crying loudly. Help me help me
But, No animal could help a big elephant to come out. Now He was regret that if I did not dig it for the lion I would not be trapped now, but there was no use to cry now.
Then the lion came there. He saw that elephant is in a big problem, He advised to the animals that all should throw the mud in to it and fill the hole with mud, So that when this hole will be filled completely the elephant will come out.
Dear kids all the animals started to do the same and then the elephant found his way to come out.
Dear kids as you see that due to grudge the elephant trapped into such a big tragedy.
So we also try not to have a grudge with any friend or neighbor or brother or sister, and also never try to harm anyone.
Dear kids Allah teaches us to love all humans.

  • The story of jealousy with a Beautiful Hadith.

Dear kids our today’s Hadith is about jealousy
    Let’s read the Hadith first
    Our Prophet (PBUH) said:

“ do not be jealous of one another “
Dear kids as you can understand from the topic that this Hadith is about jealousy.
It is not a good act and a very bad feeling so we should leave it.
Dear kids jealousy is the name of this thing,
that if we see something good in others, we do not get happy to see it ,
but we wish that this thing may lose by them.
Due to this kind of jealous nature a Person can not be happy in any situation,  even for the things whatever he has. Such a person always feel jealousy inside them
Dear kids to understand this feeling well, let’s hear a story of a hen, a dog, and a horse.
Once upon a time, there was a hen in a house of a man .it’s name was KATOO BEGUM.
People of the house took good care of her, they made a separate room for her, they feed her in the morning and evening and also give fresh water daily. All the day katoo begum walked around in the house happily, she laid one egg daily also.
One day she got small kids from the eggs, now katoo begum feels more proud by spreading her wings and walked around in the house because all the people of the house were taking more care of her and her kids. she got their full attention.
After a few days, the owner of the house brought a dog with him, his name was PAPU.
The man tied the papu near to the gate and also prepared a small room for him.
The people of the house started to take care of papu also, they feed him and give water also on time, but it was not liked by katoo begum, she started to get jealous of the papu.
She thought that before, I was alone in the house to walk around here and there, and got the full attention of all,
Now this Papu has come, but she could not do anything. She started to get jealous all day and sat on one side unhappy. After few days when the owner came back house at night, he had a horse with him.the name of the horse was Chandu.it was a beautiful horse, but katoo begum did not like the chandu as well.
Now the owner of the house started to bring food for the chandu also, he cleaned the chandu in the morning tied the cart with the chandu and gone for work.
When he comes back in the evening, again he cleaned the chandu and takes him outside to be relaxed on the sand.
Katoo begum observed it and thought that all the attention of the owner is for the chandu, he spends more time with chandu.katoo begum is now much jealous from the chandu, she thought that is this papu was not enough, as they bring the chandu also .she was spending more time quite, and does not come outside from the room . The people of the house was taking care as usual as they were doing before, but katoo begum does not like it and wished that may both of them go away from the house.
One day all the people of the house went outside, only katoo begum and papu were left at home. Katoo begum was giving food to her kids, kids were eating and running here and there in the house. Katoo begum did not know that a cat sitting on the wall was thinking to eat the kids. Suddenly the cat jumped from the wall and was about to snatch the chickens ,at the same time the papu who was watching all this, started to bark at once and run towards the cat. The cat ran away by fear of papu. Katoo begum gathered all her chiks and took them inside her room.she was scared too much, she thought that if today this papu would not be here what would happen with us? The cat would eat all my chicks. now when she sees papu she admits that this papu is very useful she admired the papu.Next day when katoo begum came out from her room she had less hate and jealousy in her heart for papu, but still, she feels that chandu is useless she thinks that the owner takes him outside the whole day, not me.
Dear kids one days chandu became very ill. The owner could not ride the cart by chandu ,for many days he could not earn money. He had short of money now, he did not buy food for chandu, katoo begum and papu. He was very sad and thought that I would sell out the chickss of katoo begum, now katoo begum became very sad she was worried for chandu’s illness, she started to pray for chandu. Her prayer accepted by Allah and chandu recovered his health and katoo begum’s chikcks were safe now. The owner again started to take chandu to ride the cart, at night he brought food for katoo begum and her kids.
Now katoo begum understand it very well that in this world nothing is useless everything has its own value, if I give one egg daily to the owner this chandu also work hard to earn money and papu provide safety, she got rid of jealousy she made a promise with her that now I will not be jealous of anyone
Dear kids we also should not be jealous and keep our hearts clean …Please write this hadith into your Al-Kitab-ul-Hadith and remmber it well. Don’t forget to share hadith with your family and friends. Till the next hadith with beautiful story Allah hafiz Aslam-o-Alikum.

  • Cow and a goat; Poetry of Allama Iqbal for children adopted story.

    A cow and a goat

    Adapted for children
    (Free children’s stories)

Children's story adopted by Allama Iqbal

Once there was a cow in a verdant pasture filled with the pleasant fragrance of Spring.
brooks of blue and sweat water flow there with pride. Around was surrounded by countless trees of pomegranate and pipal.
And the sounds of birds and cool breezes fill the air with love. Then a Goat appeared at the bank of that brook from somewhere who was also browsing.
She stopped browsing for a while and looked around. She found a cow was also standing there. Just to have some nice talk with the cow little goat paid regards (Salaam) and she started talking in a very tactful tone.
Goat:- Most respected madam Cow! How are you doing
    Cow:- Not very well.
Then she began to complain about, many things.
Cow:- I’m surprised and cursing at the people who are not as good as ALLAH had honoured them.
We Poor are very helpless and we do not have any power. Misfortune always treats badly poor like us.
Man is very cruel. One should never do any favors or help to a man. Because no one gets fruits of his help and nice dealing with man.
Then she said:-  If milk of me decreases’ he mourn me. When I turn into old age or loses me energy he sold me out. It is me who is feeding his children and they get energy and grown up very well because of my milk.
And in return for my best, I get evil from him. After hearing all these complaints the goad disagreed with the cow.
She said:- I know the truth is always bitter and no one likes to hear it. But I will say what is right. All these green grasses, trees, shadows are because of a man. It is he because of whom we are living in pleasure and happiness. So Tell me if freedom is better or his bondage?
You know we have fear of many animals. And we always seek protection from the wilderness. So It is just because of his kindness we are living happily and safely. If you acknowledge the comforts he provides us you will never complain about him.
The cow was ashamed of his complaints and felt sorry. He reviewed the little talk of goat about good and bad and accepted that hence goat has a small body but her words are very powerful and convincing.

    My New Friend
    A Big Yellow Sunflower
    By: Adiba Anwar
    I Love sunflower.

So, I planted some seeds of sunflower and watered it. And now I was anxiously waiting when a little baby plant of sunflower will grow.

After 20 days it grew up and I was much happy.
I use to go to see and water it daily. It was growing slowly and became much bigger.

Now it is a tall big plant and I am very happy because it is very beautiful.
A big yellow sunflower also blooming on it now.
As a sunny day and it is very hot outside.
I spread some sheets upon it to escape it from hot weather.
But my mom told me that plants do not like plastic sheets or covers upon them.
She told me that plants need water and soil to grow well.

Plants need fresh air and sunlight too.
    They can’t grow without
    1.Soil to get energy
    2.Water.
    3.Sunlight
    4. Fresh air
She gave me a little more information about the sunflower.
Sunflower’s scientific name is “Helianthus”  Helia‘ mean ‘sun’ and ‘thus‘ means ‘flower’.
Plants are very good friends of ours. They give us foods. They give us fresh atmosphere and oxygen.
They also make us happy with beautiful colors and fragrant.
At the morning I love to see it spreading its petals. During the day sunflower tracks the sun from east to west.
It sleeps when the sun goes down.
I’m very happy with my new friend.
