My New Friend A Big Yellow Sunflower By: Adiba Anwar I Love sunflower. So, I planted some seeds of sunflower and watered it. And now I was anxiously waiting when a little baby plant of sunflower will grow. After 20 days it grew up and I was much happy. I use to go to see and water it daily. It was growing slowly and became much bigger. Now it is a tall big plant and I am very happy because it is very beautiful. A big yellow sunflower also blooming on it now. As a sunny day and it is very hot outside. I spread some sheets upon it to escape it from hot weather. But my mom told me that plants do not like plastic sheets or covers upon them. She told me that plants need water and soil to grow well. Plants need fresh air and sunlight too. They can’t grow without 1.Soil to get energy 2.Water. 3.Sunlight 4. Fresh air She gave me a little more information about the sunflower. Sunflower’s scientific name is “Helianthus” Helia‘ mean ‘sun’ and ‘thus‘ means ‘flower’. Plants are very good friends of ours. They give us foods. They give us fresh atmosphere and oxygen. They also make us happy with beautiful colors and fragrant. At the morning I love to see it spreading its petals. During the day sunflower tracks the sun from east to west. It sleeps when the sun goes down. I’m very happy with my new friend. A story for kids by Adiba Anwar. How the role of worksheets is turning into child labour in schools.
This is Monday morning and I’m sitting in front of my laptop after dropping my kids at the school. I’m in the condition where I’m forced to think that if a bundle of worksheets and written homework on the weekends are like a child labour in the schools. Don’t mind if you are doing this as a teacher or parent of a home-schooled I’m explaining here why I’m thinking in this way. He returned from school with 9 worksheets and one notebook to be written on weekend. After Friday prayer they reached home and after some snacks, it was evening(about 1.5 hr left to be night) and asked them to go outside for some week relaxation and friends gathering. As I also feel a little freedom of no work like all working days. So all the homework was pending for the next two off days. At morning after breakfast, all the friends of them were waiting outside so they went and Done many healthy activities and enjoyed much. Noon was the time to study and in the evening they left for the mosque. And Sunday morning again Was the time to play outside as Baba was also at home, they played more than Saturday. When at the study time they sit to do homework younger one who is in the grade one told me, ‘mom I have many worksheets to be done today’. As already prepared children and sharp kids in writing and reading with other activities, my two kids do all of their homework themselves. I just sit for a little time for check and balance. I was shocked with that a lot of worksheets. When Baba told them that they are going to the Fun park, for him it was a time to write more faster. But for so young child of grade one, it was impossible to write all those in one sitting with having an excitement of going outside. So some were done and later after taking bath and eating food they were out And returned much tired. They went to sleep and Sunday ended up. He could not complete all the work. And in this weekend routine, I didn’t mention another thing like reading of Quran, and religious oral activities I used to teach them at home. So it was Monday morning he woke up at 6, wrote all three worksheets and one notebook in about 35 minutes and then ready for school. Got a big thumbs up from Baba and mama for achieving the goal. It was a good experience for him and me as well. But I’m in the feel of a little guilt. As a mother, a teacher and as a writer, I feel it is another kind of child labour. I think children should have no work to write for weekends. As they are writing for whole 5 working days at school and in the home as well. Weekend means weekend. It should be just for fun, doing oral and practical activities, to spend more time with family and friends, watching some educational and children fun videos, and outdoor games. My boy was ambitious, keen and prepared but what about the other kids who just started to grip a pencil and just started writing. I want to hear from all of you, Do you agree with me that a lot of writing work and worksheets are like child labour? Do you also think weekends should be weekends for other activities not for writing and boring study schedule? Do you think children learn more with playing, group activities, the family gets to gathers and fun activities? Do you also think writing and reading is the best way to teach kids? Are you agree with me, reading and writing could prepare kids just for sitting in front of desks, instead of giving life skills. Leave your comments about the good or bad experience about worksheets. It’s a time to give a big no to child labour in the study. You can read these articles to know more about skills and activities good for kids to do at home. 4 Easiest models for Transportation crafts your kids will love to make
Today my topic is transportation crafts my kids were most excited to make. Kids are always curious and love to think and ask about things around them. Parenting means to fulfill all needs of children and in homeschooling kids miss school activities but could find more chances to learn and do creative things. Today work on modern vehicles we use to travel. It’s a huge transportation topic and kids especially boys love to make or buy and play with cars trucks and construction vehicles. And at the same time, they also enjoy making roads, bridges, road slides and much more things. For that, we have made these Two simple transportation crafts. One is of elder one and the second one was made by the second one. They covered all four big modern ways of transportation. We will discuss 4 modern ways of transportation which are By Roads By Trains By Sea And by air Things we had used are Thermacol board for making ground Papers to make origami vehicles Water colors UHU to the past As for to travel by road, we use motor bikes, cars, buses trucks to travel fast.Bicycles are also being used to travel a short distance or as a hobby…. In this craft, we had made Road goes in the middle of the model with near by parking. And use any vehicle kids already have or made own with an empty box or thermal board and color it. Second travel vehicle is Train and for that here is a train line going along with the road with a train. It looks so green area with small hills. Trains normally used to long travels from one city to another. Third transportation vehicle is shipped to long travels from one country to another and small boats for domestic travels and for fun travel. For that in this transportation crafts here is one origami boat with a colored scene of the sea. And in the last to travel by air, we had made an origami airplane with a huge airport building and a vast parking. And as for the Second younger boy, he made it easier. It’s so small and cute with bright colors and full info about transportation. And this last one is already in our bridges and engineering crafts. I’m adding it here we had discussed it in four ways of travel in transportation crafts. I love The first transportation crafts because it has a full story inside it. To me it looks like, here is an airport where a plane is waiting for passengers, who are traveling fastly to come here by roads and trains and some others will land soon at the seaport and will pick any other vehicle to go to the airport.Am I right? share your feelings if you also things so, or if your imaginations also made any story with this transportations crafts. If you will like to teach you kids about transportation, which method will you use?my comment box is waiting to listen from you. Read this to know which skills your Home-school kids need to be taught
Homeschool kids find A flexible time to spend with parents as well as they could explore more thing of their interest. But with all of this, Homeschool kids missed a lot. with hanging on parents some times they miss social engagement, company, lack of age communication, lack of opportunities to learn in a natural way where kids have good or bad experiences. And also I must say for young age its ok, but for a growing age, one needs many skills besides a curriculum or syllabus and religious studies. And parents or single tutor can’t be good educationist for all things..And some time lack of scheduling and improper management, homeschool kids can’t get all the skills at one place. In this regard, I ‘m going to make an outline of some basic skills our homeschool kids are in need. And our intention is to follow these skills in automotive ways. Sign language I thought to write about this language at first because I started with my elder as fun and later it became a good part of learning as well. And one day, when I was applying the face mask and was not speaking about a half hour so my elder was enjoying as well helping younger kids to understand me. It’s a very healthy activity and could be going to help to communicate with sign learners as well as distance communication. Lip reading Lip reading is a little hard to learn but it is a great fun to do. With siblings, friends or parents even watching tv programs just mute the sound and practice to under stand the what they are saying. I got this idea one of my cousins is dumb and deaf, and we were then used to wonder that sometimes she just understand our gossips after watching sitting nearby us. Telephone directory and important no Cell phones and personal devices do not save for kids but in case of emergency and self-safety Homeschool kids needs to learn how to operate basic phone apps and calling. And learn some important numbers like Fire brigade, police, ambulance services, numbers of parents, home, school, teacher, or any close relative. It will help them to ask for help in an emergency. First aid Kids need to know how to first add in case of a burn, cut or in case if any bug bits. First aid kit with safe tools inside should be on reach and then should be familiarized with medicines and tools with security. Crawling Children love to crawl like an army on the floor. But we parents don’t like and instead of encouraging we stop them for the sake of clothes. We should provide them opportunities to crawl, and also create some healthy crawling competitions for them. This activity is rich to make them grow with health, self-confidence, and good practice in case of emergency(to rescue in case of fire, bomb explosion, and leg wounds). Swimming Swimming is a fun activity and also the best summer outing looks spitless with out visiting a beach. But with fun, it is also necessary to teach them how to swim. Road safety How to cross the road, road signals and sign board of road safety is things to use daily for adults and children as well. Parents are always here to say yes to children, but grow them to take self-care as well. For this, we can make drawing about road signs, crafts for road signals and also visit a near by driving school. Use of wash room Some parents behave like more touchy for kids and do not leave them even to use toilet and washroom. This thing stoles confidence as well makes them so much dependent on parents that they can’t imagine to do these minor things alone. This is a very bad habit, and many parents feel very comfortable to help them always. Basic self-feeding Offcourse girls love to help in the kitchen and also like to learn recipes. And girls soon or later learn how to cook. But here according to the topic, boys too should be practice how to self-feed. they should be trained from very start how to wash and get fruits, milk, how to serve already prepared food, help on the dining table and then learn easy to cook foods. How to escape in earth quake, flood, Fire Explosion Rescue tips always helpful for self-safety and also to become a helping hand(voluntary). Like in an earth quake don’t run instead sit, take a quick step down to door or hide under a table or bed. And like wise others. Self-defense It’s Sunnah to organize some healthy fight contest between young ones. And then when we see around us, we could understand how this world is turning into miserable things because of some people. So children should be trained for some fighting steps and some self-defense steps, We can find kids fighting videos on youtube or other channels. Knowledge/ Warning dangerous and harmful liquids and foods. Every house has many medicines, liquids, and other products which are very harmful to kids. And all the products contain warnings tags on it. But just thinking that keeping them out of reach is not enough. We should give them full knowledge of how to use and how to avoid dangerous effects of them. Like some products we can’t smell, others contain gases and get fires, some time bottles contain such liquids which refilled with dangerous products. So you should warn kids and teach them what warnings are on them Help in-house chores like mopping, dusting, and arranging cupboards Almost every modern reductionist is trying to refocus to teach kids how to help in house chores. In increases self, confidence and children become less dependent. I remember in my childhood, more parents like my mom used to say students should focus their study and they do not get much time to help. But it had made me lazy and more dependent. This activity is also helpful in learning practical skills. Games and Sports Of course, students are getting sports training and competitions in schools and home as well. But for homeschool kids,
Homeschool activities to teach Six rights of a Muslim towards other(part 1)Seerah series
One of my Reader asked me ‘Are there any curriculum that teaches the Seerah using themes rather than in chronological order? This would be for elementary level children.” In this regard, I help her with some things which I usually do with my kids. I love to teach them in Six-ways, Crafts Drawing Plays/Games Videos Reading/writing Practice/Acting The most popular and traditional source is Reading and writing. But it could not help kids of all learning types and also to young learners. Here today I will tell you how I taught ‘six rights of a Muslim towards others’ through play/game to two of my kids. A Muslim has five rights towards others. Those are:- Giving Regards when met each other(Aslamo- Alaikum, WaAlikumSlam) Answer him/Her when he sneezes and says Alhamdolilah(YerhamokAllah) Accept his invitation of dining with him. Visit him when he is ill. When he seeks to advise, advise him. Offer his funeral prayer. We had played this game in two parts. Part 1 Planning of a party and invitation. For this game we need Two or more than two children. (siblings/friends) For hosting:- A light party food arrangement(snacks, pasta, candies, biscuits, fruits or something light to serve) and the making of an invitation card or a toy phone to invite a guest. Preparing a house/camp or table and chairs. A card, a flower bouquet or any chocolate, etc to bring for the host as a gift. So from this game will start and host child will prepare all things himself. And late he/she will invite his guest others will accept. When guest will arrive and they will greet each other saying Aslamo -o-Alikum and the guest will say WaAlikum slam Wa Rahmatullah (It is Hadith…When someone will greats you return him as like that or more). It’s Sunnah that who will come from outside will greets first. Guest will present gift and Host will accept saying, Jazak Allah. And then they will sit and talk and serve food, and play games whatever they will like to do and how much time they would like to play.( Children will be followed manners of eating: washing hands Bismillah and dua before to eat and after. And the use of right side to serve food and right hand to eat. And after eating Dua of the Barakah for the Host. During this kids could also be asked to sneeze and say ALhamdoLilah And other will reply as YerhamoKallah. And later they will leave each other and say again greetings like the slam or Allah Hafiz etc.So in this first game, they will cover first three Rights of a Muslim brother. In this game, kids will learn, How to give invitation(calling a making of an invitation card) Offering regards(Aslam -o- Alikum/WaAlikumSlam) Host children will do Party management(menu planning Preparing foods, sitting location and Home Decoration. Prayers and manners of eating and visiting others. Right down to us if you also play games to teach kids about Islam and Seerah. Do you like this game and think it is worth playing and could help your children to teach many things? If there is any more simple step to teach? Part two will be in next article. Making an origami phone and adding a brief description (essay) is one of the unique and cool homeschool activities my kid had done. Nokia 2000 made by the 7yrs boy. This is an age of It and Phones/tabs/computers, PST, and other devices that had already replaced many other devices. Outdoor games are getting ignored and sitting inside is muting many interesting hobbies day by day. The new generation(young children) is also under the deep influence of all these devices. But! What is the Role of homeschool activities to introduce a new generation with new technology as well as the right use of them? Parents are not in the condition of saying “No” to devices and technology. As Kids are watching to moms and Fathers they are spending more time scrolling iPhone! So! How A Good homeschooling is possible with good parenting Guide? Today we need to get more advanced and a step ahead to accept and molded new technology into rapid benefits. So I never push them to stop using these things. Yes, we have some strict rules and schedules to use it. That’s why my elder 7+ yrs boy and youngers are also dreaming to grow big and waiting for possible reach to the iPhone.(I’m very strict with them to understand that personal iPhone allowed just to adults, of course, they have a desktop). I would really like them to get mine for a short time. And in that interval using tricks I always motivate them to do creative things and learn useful things (Read my article about Best ideas to use iPhones could get here)With the iPhones. Now what the older one did? He made this origami iPhone using Paper and colors. I was in a condition of a shock to see him under that much influenced by iPhones. I was collecting words to explain why he could not get an iPhone at this age. But the next moment I praised his work. And discussed how he made this. He told me that ‘this is a Nokia phone. And I had made another one for younger brother’. And those both were flipping phone. So I can say proudly, home school activities provided him a big space to learn and grow. And using self-creativity he had made done a super job and his observation and memory were super high. No one around me is using a Nokia phone, but he watched that somewhere and using memory he had made a perfect phone with all the keys. The phone was pretty good. He was glad and I too. But this did not end. We were going to add a new home school activity with this. I asked him to write down the features(essay) of his Phone. And this was a great experience. His involvement in writing was pretty more than any other thing. He was writing and I was analyzing myself how much knowledge I can transform. Here is another picture of what he had written. (Ignore the writing as it was then not written to show off and also creativity doesn’t demand beauty) Essay My phone Nokia 2000 What he learned with this home school activity is:- Deep Observation. Exploring Technical things. Motor skills. Writing skills. Curiosity to learn more. Personalizing things. Featuring the products. Knowledge about phones. and obviously more confident. Besides, iPhone what other products or toys kids can make and write for them are….. Remote control cars,(Younger one had made pic is down) Calculators, Tabelphones, computers, Coffee maker toy, washing machine toy, Oven toy, radio, speakers, exercise machines, Aeroplan or rocket toys. Remote control car with the remote. Rockets Crafts. What do you think iPhones have a bad or good influence on kids? And What should be the Parent’s role to educate them about the benefits of other devices.? Share with us if you have more ideas about the activities that could be done like this. Parenting smart guide to develop study interest in children
Every person in this world of 7.5 billion Population has personality differences. They do not look same, talk the same way, nothing resembles with each other, even sibling is also not the same. Their individual needs are also different from each other. And when we talk about, learning level and study skills, it also could not be alike. In a young age, when a human-being start to understand the matters and getting familiarization with the things. This is the high stage of the observation and learning power. But birds are good in fly and monkeys jump, A caterpillar crawls and a kitten runs well. You can’t expect from a monkey to swim. Every child in the process of learning and personality development react on the way which may differ him from others. I have three children, 9 yrs,8 yrs, and 4 yrs. They are too young but their personality differences and interests are very controversial. Parenting is not to stop them from learning it is to encourage them to explore the world and grow with healthy minds set. Parenting is to be smart and catch every opportunity without missing any stone. Some of the methods are highlighted here for the smart guide of parents who are worried about less interest of their children in the study. Provide books of child’s interest, games, the bio of players, stories, geography, cooking, news, facts, engineering. DISCUSS curriculum problem issues and try to solve. Solve reading problem/ issues/ disability. Provide visual and audio tools. Plenty of light in the room and comfortable place. physical health Make an educational environment Encouragement Praise and appreciation Accept the child’s individual skills Make groups of 2/6 children Give tasks, Projects, Deadline. Stop comparing with others. Transformation is better than enforcement. Outdoor educational activities Educational trips A good routine Set up (scheduling/Timetable) Accept the computer as a necessary distraction and use some apps and software(list of help full apps) as well as a curriculum helping guide for your kids. Make projects/Plans and show excitement Breaks and period gaps in study Setting goals and offering reward after completing goals. Parenting is not ruling, forcing or pouring ideas on a child. It should be like a google search engine takes you to the content and map and direct one into the way but it cant force to must go ahead the same way. How are these helping guide ideas? Perspectives of a good Parenting of a Muslim baby
A good parenting demands devotion, sacrifice, emotional attachment, care, responsibility, and Love. A baby can’t demand, can’t speak and can’t show his needs, but he/she is ↲↳↳♥👅👅👅☖ listening/feeling/observing. A picture of these days is saving in his Memory. So the first year is most important to nourish or spoil his/her personal skills. Children are gifts from Allah. And Parents are responsible to raise a child and full fill His all physical, emotional needs as well as bringing him a good human being. A good parenting start from the very first day of his birth. Some parents ask me how? Probably, most parents think that parenting means upbringing a child with fulfilling physical demand calls a good parenting. If you also think this. I must say no, it’s not. Islam says a Muslim child has four rights towards his parent. When a baby born with all emotional and physical needs, spiritual needs also a part of parenting. Give him/her a good mother(Mary with good women so that she good give the child good qualities) Give him/her good name(Because name effects in development of a good/bad personality) Give him/her good education And marry him/her with a good spouse) It’s clear that Good parenting starts from the first day of birth when we give a baby a name and fulfill his/her other needs. And parenting ever lasts till the marry. Fathers and mothers will equally be asked about their children. Hence fathers maintenance to fulfill the physical and emotional needs and mothers are responsible teach values and in building good personality. Here we highlight some perspectives of an Islamiclamic parenting. 1.Spiritual needs of a Baby Pray for the baby and reciting of Quran in daily. Because in effect on the baby’s personality and keep him away from bad eyes and devils. Say Bismillah every time when you lift the baby, wearing clothes, Feeding and even if he fell down. Every work you do start from right side of wearing clothes and shoes, giving a toy in his/her hand, mother feed, combing Recite some Dua’s loudly for him like for drinking milk and feeding other foods or reply when he/she sneezes He is listening to you, and he is also observing everything around him to provide a calm, pleasant and religious environment around him/her. 2: Emotional needs a Baby Talk to him, he is listening to you, so you should always tell him you love him and also keep talking like…. Now we will clothe, now it’s time to eat, you are a very good baby, I love your smile, now it’s Time to sleep. And during other tasks also. Kiss a baby often. Research says, Research says kisses and love in childhood It decreases the chances of mental problems in old age. in old age who was kissed and loved in childhood. Islam says be kind to children.Love them and have pity on them. Use kind words and your behavioral problem should not affect him/her. When baby starts crawling, provide a safe environment and say less to them.Instead, make them aware of the sequence. 2: Physical needs Baby Never leave him dirty. Whenever he does potty, pee or pour milk, do hurry to clean. This will give a baby good hygienic health, keep him/her away from devils and make his habit to live clean. Follow a good routine (use this feed CHART)of feeding, sleeping, and other playing Give him a good diet. Follow the good nutritional chart. should breastfeed for 2yrs. Use honey, eggs, milk, and wheat after 6months. Some babies contain allergic symptoms, so that do not use all milk products same time. Do massage before or after a bath and give bath daily. He totally depends on others so do not leave him/her unchecked when he starts to sit and also don’t leave him lay for a long time. WIFI and signal of other devices keep away from baby and room of a baby. Additional role of a father in good parenting As a good parent father should fulfil his/her emotional needs. I must say fathers are playing less role in the upbringing of a child. As the head of family fathers leave a deep impact on children’s personality and thoughts. And kids also live more obedient with fathers so they should play their strong role to prepare them for Sadqa-e-Jaria. And instead of ruling on them, give love and protection with a feeling of care. They should show their love for them and spend some quality time with them. And also set good examples for them How hard you find this article. 7 Best Ways to make reading and writing fun in a home school
7 Best Ways to make reading and writing fun in a home school In a homeschool, new creative ideas and fun activities improve the vision of the kids and increase self-confidence without getting them bored.↑ Reading and writing are two educational methods which are much boring for some types of learners. Especially for audio learners, kinesthetic learners, reading, and writing is very boring work. And sometimes reinforcement on it could stop a child to learn. Actually, some student who can’t read and write properly may be phobic of reading and write. For some students, it’s hard to understand the difference between b and d. Some student complains words do dance in their imaginations Some others may have eyesight problem. It is up to parents that they should understand the real problem of their kids. This article is just for parents of preschoolers and early education homeschoolers. Encouragement and easy activities will cure phobia and develop their interest in these activities In a homeschool, parents or home tutors can make reading/writing more colorful, easy according to the learning capacity of the child. As a homeschooled mom, I just give them outlines or idea’s and they mostly make worksheets themselves. In a homeschool, children need motivation and encouragement for creativity and self-empowerment. Here are some activities that could be used in a home school to make them read and write. 1.Reading/Writing Activity 1. Make a Flower and write names of all colors in petals. Then ask the child to read and color the Patel. 2. Color the Patels of a flower and say to him/her to write the names of colors. And appreciate the child’s work after completing the task. 2.Homeschool reading/writing activity 1.Make a flower or bunch of grapes and the child will count and write the numbers in each grape or Patel. 2. Write numbers in the petals or grapes and the child will count the numbers in series and color the petals. You can buy an 11+math! Learn and test. 3. Home school Reading/writing Train activity. 1. Make boxes of a train and write different names of things or alphabets in the boxes. 2. Make small boxes of a train and write words in every box. and ask the child to read the name/Alphabet in the box. Names of thing or persons could be used in it. And don’t forget to appreciate after completing the task. 4. Home school reading/writing activity 1. Write the names of some things on a paper and ask the child to find the things in the home. 2. Cut some pictures of things from the newspaper and ask the child to write the name of the things. As I was teaching two languages of my homeschooler so he wrote the names in both languages. 5. Homeschool Reading and writing activity Write names of different things in artistic style with double line and ask the child to read and then write inside the letters with different colors. 6. Home school Reading writing activity 1. Write the names of parts of the body and ask the child to read and draw part to make a child. 2. Draw a child and say child to write the names of the part of the body. 7. Home school Reading/writing activity Play a scrabble game on a paper with the child. For that the name of anything in the equal small boxes. Ask the child to read and the child will think the name of anything using one of the letters from the previous letters in boxes and will write. and then again your turn. Look at the picture to understand the whole process. 8.Labeling and reading labels. Labels of the food packaging, and on the toys are in hand activity. If a child still doesn’t find interest in reading and writing read yourself loudly the labels of the items and sometimes make some toys or food items and do labeling of those things. There is no end of the activities to be used in home school and preschool. You could try one of these or all. These all are very simple and easy. what other activities do you use? Will be great if you share your idea’s with other readers. Please leave a comment and don’t forget to share if you find this useful in your home school. Adiba Anwar

The methods of a good Homeschooling in Islam?
Ways to teach children of all learning type using the method of good homeschooling in Islam? Fathers and mothers will equally be asked about the upbringing and education of their child, not educational institutes. And whatever parents teach and train to their child is called homeschooling. Let’s see What is the meaning of homeschooling? Homeschooling. known as home education, is the education of children inside the home. Home education is usually conducted by a parent or tutor. Homeschooling means an informal way of getting knowledge and learning. And informal learning starts when a child born he starts to learn and starts getting life skills. In this regard Parents sibling, society, schools, religion plays the role. Good Muslim homeschooling starts from the lap of the mother and it never ends till the life ends. Hence, parents could not get full knowledge of every field of life but little knowledge of every field of life is necessary for good homeschooling. Here is a complete guideline for parents who do homeschooling. Homeschooling consists of three facts. What to teach, Whom to teach and how to teach? Whom to teach? Education starts from the very first day of birth and ends up with life. But as the methods of good homeschooling are under discussion, only Children’s education will be highlighted here. Every child has own individual learning style. Nowadays, every educationist as well as homeschooling parents aware of these seven learning styles. 8 learning styles: The linguistic learner The naturalist The rhythmic learner The kinesthetic learner The visual or spatial learner The interpersonal learner The Intrapersonal learner. Read more These learning types find and fit onto the individual persona of the child and are applicable just for preschoolers and a little informal education. And at the last, formal institutes are using a typical method(more writing and reading). In the homeschooling method, the regular syllabus is available in the market. But a parent or tutor has more flexibility to teach with individual personal learning styles. How to teach? The methods of good homeschooling. What strategy should be applied to nourish skills rather than teaching knowledge? Islam is a complete religion and it has an own code of life which nourishes individual skills. It gave human beings a wonderful homeschooling method(informal training system Like mosques, madrasa) which emphasis training and practice more than learning. Quranic methods of human training have such wonderful features that fit into the methods of good homeschooling. All social development and advanced technology are because of That Islamic(INFORMAL)homeschooling method. Today it is needed to move back where and follow Quran which has complete homeschooling methods Now see how Quranic methods of a god homeschooling will be applied, using four sources of information on the children of all learning types to nourish their personal skills. 1) The artistic and verbal method and the tone of voice (as Qur’an uses) in a good Homeschooling help more. Children love to color and want a variety of toys, clothes, foods, games, stories, poems outings, etc. And they learn while playing but they need dictation(Molding interest and converting information). And dictation should be more attractive with a soft tone of voice and verbal sentences. Instead of teaching the knowledge, convert the information. Suppose, if a child hurts someone(his siblings, friend, and bug or bee), and he would be told not to do this in insulting or dictation method and harsh words would be used to stop him, this will not work. A good method of good homeschooling is that it makes him realize he did wrong, wisely using soft words and a painful wise tone. like: – oooh it must be hurting him, it is very painful for him, You must say sorry and hug him, Because of the devil, you did it so say Astaghfirullah. This thing and style feel sorry for him. The intellectual and scientific content When children are being homeschooled, they ask, what is this? why is this? where is something? etc. They should be answered wisely with scientific content Like: – If Children ask why a bird can fly and I can’t? Answer with scientific reason makes things easy and understandable. Your answer should be like this; – he has wings, it has less weight, and he can push air and can go high and fly. Make a paper/origami bird or plan to show the example. Just answering them that because they are the bird and we are not is not enough. 3) The reinforcement of the spiritual dimensions of man. In a Good homeschooling method, a child could be treated according to his own spirit and level of learning. In this regard learning types of a student could help. Read more 4) The appeal to reflect and ponder. In this regard provide material to them and let them practice. Facilitate a child with the application. In a good homeschooling method, a single item could help much. Activities Like: – Seed a plant and observe the stages of its growth, Take the fruit basket and observe the colors and taste of different fruits, Colors combination(red and yellow makes orange) 5) The appeal to the study of nature. Nature is the world’s best trainer and teacher. As a homeschooling student, a child gets more time to play and live outside. Spend more time outside near nature and discuss birds, plants, clouds, the sun, day-night, bugs bees, land, and hills. In this regard, I have another article about mobile apps which helps a child to study nature. 6) The tapping of the historical incidents for evaluation. In the method of good homeschooling,, history works like junk food. Direct from shop to mouth. Stories from the Quran, Then make own stories for kids like, Story of a pencil was made, The living style of old ages, How a knife or fire harmed anyone? The story of the child’s childhood. And most attracting stories for children are your own childhood stories. 7) The expounding of the mysteries of the creation.Discussion
