    1. Storytelling
    2. Finding the birds and Animals mentioned in that story.
    3. Facts of the mentioned birds HUDHUD(Hoopoe).
    4. Crafts of the story

    7. Lessons and important points of the story.

    1. The story of King Sulemon A.S and hud hud(Read the story in Urdu)

The story of King Solomon is very much interesting and attractive as it has many magical lyrics and is divided into many small parts. In this story Ants, Fish, Hud Hud, Crow, and Jins are mentioned.

The story of Prophet Solomon (Sulaiman in Arabic) and Hud-hud (Hoopoe bird) is mentioned in the Quran in Surah Al-Naml (Chapter 27, verses 20-28).

According to the story, Prophet Solomon was a righteous and just king who ruled over a vast kingdom with the help of Allah. One day, he noticed that Hud-hud, one of the birds in his kingdom, was missing. Prophet Solomon asked his courtiers about Hud-hud’s whereabouts, but no one knew where the bird had gone.

Then, Hud-hud returned to Prophet Solomon with some news. The bird had discovered a kingdom ruled by a queen who was worshipped by her people instead of Allah. Prophet Solomon was curious and ordered the bird to lead his army to that kingdom to investigate.

When they arrived, Prophet Solomon saw that the queen and her people were indeed worshipping idols instead of Allah. Prophet Solomon invited the queen to worship Allah instead and warned her that if she did not abandon her false beliefs, her kingdom would be destroyed by Allah.

The queen realized the truth and submitted to Allah. Prophet Solomon then asked Hud-hud why he had not brought the news of this kingdom to him before, to which the bird replied that it had traveled far and wide to bring the news to Prophet Solomon.

Prophet Solomon was pleased with the bird’s loyalty and intelligence and thanked Allah for the guidance. The story of Prophet Solomon and Hud-hud serves as a lesson about the importance of seeking knowledge and guidance from Allah, as well as the importance of remaining steadfast in one’s beliefs and worship of Allah.

So we decided to make the nest of the hud which is a unique and different nest from all other birds. We tried to make the nest in many ways. Kids were trying to make the same nest as Hud Hud by making the whole in a small log. We got three logs and nails and hammers to drag a hole. All three kids tried for two days but it was a hard thing so they ended up with a paper craft(milk pack)

  • A complete nutritional Sunnah break fast for Muslim Parenting.A motivational Article.

Healthy breakfast Ideas with Sunnah Meal/ ingredients.

Last week we had a school meeting. The agenda was full of tummy breakfast and healthy meal awareness.

    muslimparenting sunaah foods.

There It was a shocking comment from the teachers of nursery classes.
They were telling the ratio of kids coming with a complete breakfast is 2:20 and with a light breakfast is 3/5 out of 20, and the rest of the students are coming without breakfast. And they summed up that sugar and white floor is lowering the hunger and making them weak inside. That’s why children especially girls get weaker and complain about the ache in the joints and bones.
I was surprised. I know many children don’t like to eat in the morning. So many parents seem to be grateful if they are at least taking a cup of milk. So there was a campaign started in the school and the target was sending children in the school with a full tummy breakfast.
Alhamdulillah, my all children have a habit to take a complete and healthy breakfast every morning.so I’m not much worry about them. But I felt Proud of being  Muslim that we have Sunnah food in our life when teachers recommended ‘Honey’ instead of Jams and other topping ingredients. Many Mothers are in need a good recommendation and motivation of healthy breakfast for the little ones. That’s why I decided to write an article to share some tips and ideas about a complete nutritional breakfast every morning.

    muslimparenting Sunnah foods.

    Tip 1.

Breakfast is the first meal of the day. We need more energy and a pleasant mood to begin a worthful day. This is the time when our body and stomach could absorb heavy meals. Make a healthy and rich meal menu for breakfast
Here is a set of breakfast ingredients.
      1.  A brown toast topped with honey and butter, half egg and the half cup of milk.
      2. A brown Rusk with cheese or butter and yogurt.
      3. A Bowl wheat porridge with and a spoon of honey and 3dates.
      4. A Brown chapatti bread made in olive oil and a cup of yogurt.
      5. A glass of fresh juices and with the role of brown bread filled with cream and chicken.
      6. Mouselli with milk/yogurt and Banana.
      7. Black chocolate with milk and bread.
      Muslimparenting Sunnah foods

      Tip 2.

After a long sleep, children don’t want to eat. So give them a break of 1:30 to 2 hrs between awakening and breakfast.

      Tip 3.

Motivate them to eat healthy foods in the morning. Mostly girls like to look pretty and glowing and boys want to be more strong and healthy. So encourage them to eat a more and more healthy thing in the morning so that could achieve their target.

      Tip 4.

Change the menu often. So that they do not feed up with the same things every morning.

      Tip 5.

Sit and do your breakfast with them and show your interest in eating more in the morning.

      Tip 6.

At the start, children will not be ready to eat so much in the morning. slowly and steadily they will get used to it. But you live constant and force them to take breakfast. In some days, they will change their behavior.

      Tip 7.

Provide a relaxed and calm atmosphere at the time of Breakfast. Don’t show the hurries, otherwise, the children will make the reason to avoid breakfast.
In the end here is a list of Sunnah foods that are rich nutritional.

      • Dates
      • Olive/olive oil
      • Milk
      • Brown bread
      • Honey.
      • Dry fruits.
      • Meat
      • Apple Cider.
      • Pomegranate.
      • Fig
      • Watermelon.
      • Cucumber.
      • Barley
      • Water.
      • Grapes

In holidays when the children stay at home before noon try to add more sunnah foods in their diet.

Purpose of the Unit study of birds mentioned in the Quran

In this session, our focus and purpose are polishing the creativity of Muslim children and adding some pieces of information about nature with a complete reference to the Quran. So that children take more interest in reading and understanding the Holy Book Quran Kareem and do Tafakurr.

Crow, Hoopoe, and Ababeels are the birds mentioned in the Quran. All these birds are mentioned in different stories and in different ways. But all these birds have some astonishing facts. We did this unit study in a totally different way. Three children were part of this study with the moms. Every activity was hands-on and fieldwork-based. let’s see the reality and facts of the birds one by one.

We will study the bird crow mentioned in the Quran in these ways.

      1. Storytelling
      2. Bird of this story.
      3. Photography.
      4. Facts of the Crow.
      5. Crafting.
      6. Benefits of the birds and crow.
      7. Moral lesson and Prayer of forgiveness.

      Storytelling

      1. Crow is mentioned in the Quran in the story of Adam A.S and his Sons Habeel & Qabeel. We will start with storytelling.

Before starting to tell stories keep in mind

      • Answer the unrelative questions of children.
      • Use a good Tone of Storytelling.
      • Body language helps to express feelings and make good imaginaries

Our first story is about the First Khalifa of Allah SAW (Prophet of Allah SWT )Adam and His Sons. The bird mentioned in our first story is A CROW. This story is revealed in Surat Al-meida in Quran. We read the story of Adam and His son and found out the moral lesson of the story. The lesson of the story of Adam is given in these two pictures.

After reading the story, we had a discussion, about why Adam was sent to this world. What Allah has advised them? And the lesson we learned from the story is that we should obey Allah, not Iblees. W all are bounded by some forbidden and shytan is our enemy. If we follow him, he will mislead us and we will occur sins like the sons of Adam A.S. Some facts from the story of Adam are added to the pictures.

      Creativity, Art/Craft for the story

We have this fingerpainted forbidden tree for this purpose. we had many crafts in this story like the forbidden tree of Adam. A.S, First Kabah Made by Adam A.S and other craftworks.

      Birds mentioned in Quran

      Moral lesson of the story

The story is about two brothers. One brother was loyal and honest and loved his brother, He is obedient to his father, and he submitted to Allah. But the other was misguided by shaitan. He hated and was jealous of his brother. He was disrespectful of his father and not submitted to Allah. Finally following the footsteps of shytan he killed his own brother of His jealousy. Then he was regretful for not knowing what to do with the dead body, instead of being regretful to kill his brother. Allah helped him and a crow was there to teach him how to bury dead bodies.

      The bird in the Story

After telling the story a question was asked. Which birds taught Qabeel how to hide the dead body of Habeel into the soil? The Crow Yes it was the crow. The crow was mentioned and we entered into the world of crow. Now we have to find out the facts about the birds.

      Photography

We were looking to capture a crow or a nest of crows. Mostly in our area crows could be found hardly. But Luckily, we found a nest of a crew downstairs. That was close to the roof so we used a ladder to capture a close view of that nest. Honestly speaking the photograph is not much pretty, but I’m proud to uncover it as that was made by my little kids. We don’t have any pic of crows not of eggs, but it’s okay as kids are familiar enough with crows.

      Birds mentioned in Quran

      Facts of Crow.

We searched for the facts of the crows on youtube, google, and different books and social talks. We gathered these interesting facts about crows after watching the videos and also from this story.

      1. Crow has 45 species.
      2. The lush of a special kind of crow is Halal.
      3. Crow makes a rough nest with some grass and tree sticks.
      4. It is a very clever and outsmarting Bird so it could solve his problems at the spot.
      5. Crows are emotional birds and express their feelings. They don’t leave their Fellows even when they are dead.
      6. The crows have a strong memory.
      7. The Crows are fearless birds and can steal food from others even from humans.
      8. Crows eat everything even the dirt.

These facts unveil the truth of crow. For me, the new thing was that crow is Halal and Muslims could eat it.

      Birds mentioned in Quran

      Crafts of the story.

It’s time to make the nests of crows. We got three ideas for the nests. Woods and husk nest, molding clay nest, and play dough nest. So as we are going to do work on the three birds mentioned in Quran, we will make them all one by one. Crow nest will be of woods and husk. (For all the pictures visit my Pinterest profile.) Every child participated in this session excitedly. As it was again some fieldwork. They went outside to get woods and husks to make a nest. The Video of making a nest is down.

Three Birds three stories in the Quran

      • Stories with facts, crafts, verses of Quran and Interesting activities for children.
Stories in Qur’an are a big source of teaching moral lessons, universal rules, and

      Islamic Stories for children
facts of nature to kids. I personally use to read for them these stories to raise their interest in reading and understanding the meanings of Qur’an for strong bonding.
Qur’an Is for every age and every aspect of life. So for children, it has many interesting things. It has all science, nature, and fiction topics for children.
This summer we decided to read these stories in a different way. And the outputs are really good.
We started our journey of learning Quran from the Ayat of the Quran about birds and animals and their benefits and relation with human beings.
      In surat-al-Baqara, Allah SWA says:-
…….and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason. (164)
Then we had a general look at the names of animals, birds, and insects mentioned in the Quran. And the list was very long.
So we made a list of them in three categories, that is Birds, animals, and Insects.. I will add the names of all of them in a related category.
Here I would like to recommend you to get ready for unexpected questions from the children. They asked many minds unlocking questions to me like;-
If the horse is also mentioned in the Quran?
If my name is also in the Quran?
Where is a list of things I will get in Heaven?
Honestly, children are more clever than elders.
      Three Birds Three Stories.
Children were interested in Birds. So we started from the stories of the birds, mentioned in the Quran. In the Quran Word ‘bird’ is mentioned 5 times and the word ‘birds’  occurs 13 times.
Three birds are mentioned with their names in the Quran.
In the Quran, We find many Ayaats about benefits and general
      information about the birds.
Allah SWT says about the Bird:-
“Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up except Allah. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.”(Al-Nahal-79)
And Here are many other verses which invite us to look at birds and ponder the psychology of birds. We summed up all the verses of the Quran in a list and started our journey.
First of all, we made an outline of our field of storytelling sessions. We worked on this project in these steps.

      • Photography of some birds/nests in nature
      • Reading/listening stories
      • Marking the bird from the story
      • Numbering the benefits of Birds
      • Facts about that bird
      • The moral lessons of the Story (discussion)
      • Learning verses or just Dua(supplication) of the prophet.
      • Crafts/creative work(Shop here)

      Day 1. PhotoGraphy:-

Our First step was the photography of some birds and their nests from nature. That day was full of excitement. Nature, free time to spend outside and then finding birds and taking photos of them was the totally amazing experience of learning without getting bored.
Here are some photos of birds and nests, my young learners took.

Day2. Discussion About birds and their living style.

The next day we had a healthy discussion about the birds and their nests. How they make nests, what do they eat and how they fly. Life. The cycle of birds is also an interesting aspect of stories of the birds. We also discussed the airplane which flies like birds. Children were also wishing that They may also fly. And then I told them they may fly like a bird in a pursuit when they will grow up.
It was the time when I was able to make them realize that Humans are the best creature of Allah SWT in this universe.

      Day3. Benefits of the Birds.

Making the list of the benefits of the birds was also incredible work…
      We found these benefits;-`
      • They give us food
      • They eat insects so our world is saved from a huge quantity of insects.
      • They are also a natural source of spreading the seeds of some fruits and herbs from one to another place.
      • They also make our earth beautiful.
      • In the last, every bird has individual facts which will be described in three birds and their stories.
      Islamic stories for children

And then we entered into our next doorstep. And this level was labelling the birds mentioned in the Quran with the name. We found three Birds mentioned in the Quran named:-
      1. Crow  (Surat al Maida. In the story of Adam.A.S)
      2. Swallow(Ababeel)   ( Surat Al-Feel.  In the story of Elephants)
      3. Hud (Hoopoe) (Surat AL-Namal. In the story of Hazra Suleman A.S)

      Day4. Story telling

This was the day we started our story session.
We Started our 1st story that was the Story of Hz Adam A.S. Children are listening to these stories almost from the lap, so I tried to involve them in these stories. some important points and the morals of the stories were discussed in our storytelling session. Our focus was on the bird mentioned in That story to keep them interested in this story.

Day5. Facts of the Bird of each story.

Facts of that bird. Then we entered into the world of those birds and watched some videos about the facts of that bird. Children were happy because they got new information about the birds.

      Day 6.Crafts and creativity.

Now children have much knowledge and information. So in the end, some creative work and craftwork was done. video of easy nest craft is added now down.

You can also do it. If someone is much interest to get a collection of Ayats about birds and animals then leave a comment.
Soon I will publish the stories and individual work on every story and bird.
Now it’s your turn to let me know how much are you interested in getting my next story in the Quran with creative work and
      information?
Please leave a comment if I forget to add something.

      Math lessons for preschoolers.

When we talk about Math lessons for pre-schoolers don’t mean to give
a high burden curriculum books or a tight schedule to teach. Maths and numbers could not be put into the brain by dumping or pumping.

Some children love to play with numbers but other gets confused when its time to figure out values and numbers. And in the end, they start to hate the numbers. 4. Tips with free recourses to start early childhood education program,

As a mom of three and a teacher, I’m feeling happy to share my experience of start of  early childhood education program which was a great and this method worked for my children.

      early childhood education program.

When a parent blessed with a baby they also bless with love, care and worry about a child, A child gets all the emotional, physical and social needs from his parent.
Parents do their best to raise the child as a successful and complete person.
Education would be their first priority when a child grows and of course, everyone tries to do their best to fulfil this duty.
But dear parents/ guardians if you are accepting the responsibility to educate your child and decided do it pre-schooling yourself at home. You must have to know that an early childhood education program is such a big and challenging task. Teaching and transforming knowledge with perfect method and  educate your child like a complete personality is not as much easy task as everyone could do it. It is a very sensitive department. And it also needs a proper guide and full training.

As Parents spend much time closer to their child so they already know the nature of their child very well. That’s why with a proper guideline and a little training about early childhood education programs, they could get a high level of good performance.

Here I will go through intro how to start an early childhood education program at home.
There are three basic learning resources in this age.

      Learning Methods

      1. The child will learn what he/she will listen to.
      2. The child will learn and do what he/she will Watch or experience.
      3. The child will learn with little speaking/conversation and exploring different things.
        early childhood education programm

      early childhood education programm
Using these three resources we try to get connect our child towards learning. We will start from things of their interest. Some kids listen more and others would have exploring and curious nature. So If child would like to listen and talk more, We would need video resources, story books and more time to talk with them.

But for curios children this method is best thing of interest.

      What to teach?
Here is a list of things we have to teach in this age.

      How to teach?

All you need to do is Understand the mood and nature of your child. Then use a good tone of voice and an interesting way of communication with your child. From a young age of 3 to 7, every child is a self-learner. So you should be here to support him in learning and providing him/her with good resources to learn, not to stop them from self-learning and following your footsteps. Being a tricky person all you need to do is say yes when they want to ask you some thing. Be there with them to give answers. Nature is full of learning resources . Don’t miss any opportunity to teach them about things, sizes, colours explore world.

      My Personal experience of Teaching

My kids always learned much in a playground or park but also in the kitchen, drawing room and even in the washroom. Yes in the wash room the goes into a different world.
So,  I taught colours to them using fresh fruits and vegetable. I had used my fingers, clothes of My Husband and children to teach them sizes.
Same like that they counted the beans in the kitchen and flowers in the Garden and Birds in the air and doors of the room which also kept them busy for a long hour.
Now I will give you some tips to make and use free resources.

      Tips to make free resources

      • You can draw big flower and ask them to count petals and colour. Than ask them to write numbers or trace for them to write.
      • You can make origami boats, fish, aeroplanes, photo frames and many other things of different shapes, sizes, colours. This will also help them to name colours, and learn sizes.
      • Use a paper/cardboard to make puzzel cards again of different colours and sizes so that child can match colours, sizes Numbers and pattern.
      • Water bottles/lids, popsicle sticks, disposable cups also help them to Learn.
      • Give you child some newspapers and a child friendly scissor and ask them to cut just fruits or flowers or favourite foods and past on a paper. This will help them in motor skills increase their memory. They would also be able to understand difference between different things.
      • Play dough is Big source of teaching for me. I had used it in many ways and still I’m using it.

    5. How the role of worksheets is turning into child labour in schools.

This is Monday morning and I’m sitting in front of my laptop after dropping my kids at the school. I’m in the condition where I’m forced to think that if a bundle of worksheets and written homework on the weekends are like a child labour in the schools.

      Worksheets or child labor

Don’t mind if you are doing this as a teacher or parent of a home-schooled I’m explaining here why I’m thinking in this way. He returned from school with 9 worksheets and one notebook to be written on weekend.

      Worksheets or child labor

After Friday prayer they reached home and after some snacks, it was evening(about 1.5 hr left to be night)  and asked them to go outside for some week relaxation and friends gathering. As I also feel a little freedom of no work like all working days. So all the homework was pending for the next two off days.
At morning after breakfast, all the friends of them were waiting outside so they went and Done many healthy activities and enjoyed much. Noon was the time to study and in the evening they left for the mosque. And Sunday morning again Was the time to play outside as Baba was also at home, they played more than Saturday.
When at the study time they sit to do homework younger one who is in the grade one told me, ‘mom I have many worksheets to be done today’.

Worksheets or child laborWorksheets or child labor

As already prepared children and sharp kids in writing and reading with other activities, my two kids do all of their homework themselves. I just sit for a little time for check and balance. I was shocked with that a lot of worksheets.
When Baba told them that they are going to the Fun park, for him it was a time to write more faster. But for so young child of grade one, it was impossible to write all those in one sitting with having an excitement of going outside. So some were done and later after taking bath and eating food they were out And returned much tired. They went to sleep and Sunday ended up. He could not complete all the work.
And in this weekend routine, I didn’t mention another thing like reading of Quran, and religious oral activities I used to teach them at home.
So it was Monday morning he woke up at 6, wrote all three worksheets and one notebook in about 35 minutes and then ready for school. Got a big thumbs up from Baba and mama for achieving the goal.

Worksheets or child laborworksheets, Child labor

It was a good experience for him and me as well.
But I’m in the feel of a little guilt.
As a mother, a teacher and as a writer, I feel it is another kind of child labour.
I think children should have no work to write for weekends. As they are writing for whole 5 working days at school and in the home as well. Weekend means weekend. It should be just for fun, doing oral and practical activities, to spend more time with family and friends, watching some educational and children fun videos, and outdoor games. My boy was ambitious, keen and prepared but what about the other kids who just started to grip a pencil and just started writing.
I want to hear from all of you,

      • Do you agree with me that a lot of writing work and worksheets are like child labour?
      • Do you also think weekends should be weekends for other activities not for writing and boring study schedule?
      • Do you think children learn more with playing, group activities, the family gets to gathers and fun activities?
      • Do you also think writing and reading is the best way to teach kids?
      • Are you agree with me, reading and writing could prepare kids just for sitting in front of desks, instead of giving life skills.
Leave your comments about the good or bad experience about worksheets. It’s a time to give a big no to child labour in the study.

    6. Perspectives of a good Parenting of a Muslim baby

A good parenting demands devotion, sacrifice, emotional attachment, care, responsibility, and Love. A baby can’t demand, can’t speak and can’t show his needs, but he/she is ↲↳↳♥👅👅👅☖

listening/feeling/observing. A picture of these days is saving in his Memory. So the first year is most important to nourish or spoil his/her personal skills.

Children are gifts from Allah. And Parents are responsible to raise a child and full fill His all physical, emotional needs as well as bringing him a good human being.

      A good Muslim Parenting

A good parenting start from the very first day of his birth.
Some parents ask me how? Probably, most parents think that parenting means upbringing a child with fulfilling physical demand calls a good parenting. If you also think this. I must say no, it’s not. Islam says a Muslim child has four rights towards his parent. When a baby born with all emotional and physical needs, spiritual needs also a part of parenting.

      1. Give him/her a good mother(Mary with good women so that she good give the child good qualities)
      2. Give him/her  good name(Because name effects in development of a good/bad personality)
      3. Give him/her good education
      4. And marry him/her with a good spouse)

      A good Muslim Parenting

It’s clear that Good parenting starts from the first day of birth when we give a baby a name and fulfill his/her other needs.
And parenting ever lasts till the marry.
Fathers and mothers will equally be asked about their children. Hence fathers maintenance to fulfill the physical and emotional needs and mothers are responsible teach values and in building good personality.
Here we highlight some perspectives of an Islamiclamic parenting.

      1.Spiritual needs of a Baby

      • Pray for the baby and reciting of Quran in daily. Because in effect on the baby’s personality and keep him away from bad eyes and devils.
      • Say Bismillah every time when you lift the baby, wearing clothes, Feeding and even if he fell down.
      • Every work you do start from right side of wearing clothes and shoes, giving a toy in his/her hand, mother feed, combing
      • Recite some Dua’s loudly for him like for drinking milk and feeding other foods or reply when he/she sneezes
      •  He is listening to you, and he is also observing everything around him to provide a calm, pleasant and religious environment around him/her.

      2: Emotional needs a Baby

      • Talk to him, he is listening to you,  so you should always tell him you love him and also keep talking like…. Now we will clothe, now it’s time to eat, you are a very good baby,  I love your smile, now it’s Time to sleep. And during other tasks also.
      • Kiss a baby often. Research says, Research says kisses and love in childhood It decreases the chances of mental problems in old age. in old age who was kissed and loved in childhood.
      • Islam says be kind to children.Love them and have pity on them. Use kind words and your behavioral problem should not affect him/her.
      • When baby starts crawling, provide a safe environment and say less to them.Instead, make them aware of the sequence.

      2: Physical needs Baby

      • Never leave him dirty. Whenever he does potty, pee or pour milk, do hurry to clean. This will give a baby good hygienic health, keep him/her away from devils and make his habit to live clean.
      • Follow a good routine (use this feed CHART)of feeding, sleeping, and other playing
      • Give him a good diet. Follow the good nutritional chart. should breastfeed for 2yrs.  Use honey, eggs, milk, and wheat after 6months. Some babies contain allergic symptoms, so that do not use all milk products same time.
      • Do massage before or after a bath and give bath daily.
      • He totally depends on others so do not leave him/her unchecked when he starts to sit and also don’t leave him lay for a long time.
      • WIFI and signal of other devices keep away from baby and room of a baby.

Additional role of a father in good parenting

As a good parent father should fulfil his/her emotional needs. I must say fathers are playing less role in the upbringing of a child. As the head of family fathers leave a deep impact on children’s personality and thoughts. And kids also live more obedient with fathers so they should play their strong role to prepare them for Sadqa-e-Jaria. And instead of ruling on them, give love and protection with a feeling of care. They should show their love for them and spend some quality time with them. And also set good examples for them

Reading and writing are two educational methods which are much boring for some types of learners. Especially for audio learners, kinesthetic learners, reading, and writing is very boring work. In a homeschool, parents or home tutors can make reading/writing more colorful, easy according to the learning capacity of the child. As a homeschooled mom, I  just give them outlines or idea’s and they mostly make worksheets themselves. 8. The methods of a good Homeschooling in Islam?

Ways to teach children of all learning type using the method of good homeschooling in Islam?

      The methods of good homeschooling

Fathers and mothers will equally be asked about the upbringing and education of their child, not educational institutes.

And whatever parents teach and train to their child is called homeschooling. Let’s see
What is the meaning of homeschooling?
Homeschooling. known as home education, is the education of children inside the home. Home education is usually conducted by a parent or tutor.
Homeschooling means an informal way of getting knowledge and learning. And informal learning starts when a child born he starts to learn and starts getting life skills. In this regard Parents sibling, society, schools, religion plays the role.
Good Muslim homeschooling starts from the lap of the mother and it never ends till the life ends.
Hence, parents could not get full knowledge of every field of life but little knowledge of every field of life is necessary for good homeschooling.
Here is a complete guideline for parents who do homeschooling.

      Homeschooling consists of three facts.
      1. What to teach,
      2. Whom to teach
      3. and how to teach?
                                        Whom to teach?
Education starts from the very first day of birth and ends up with life. But as the methods of good homeschooling are under discussion, only Children’s education will be highlighted here.

Every child has own individual learning style.
Nowadays, every educationist as well as homeschooling parents aware of these seven learning styles.
                     8 learning styles:

        1. The linguistic learner
        2. The naturalist
        3. The rhythmic learner
        4. The kinesthetic learner
        5. The visual or spatial learner
        6. The interpersonal learner
        7. The Intrapersonal learner. Read more

These learning types find and fit onto the individual persona of the child and are applicable just for preschoolers and a little informal education.  And at the last, formal institutes are using a typical method(more writing and reading).

In the homeschooling method, the regular syllabus is available in the market. But a parent or tutor has more flexibility to teach with individual personal learning styles.

        How to teach?

        The methods of good homeschooling.

What strategy should be applied to nourish skills rather than teaching knowledge?

The methods of good homeschoolingIslam is a complete religion and it has an own code of life which nourishes individual skills. It gave human beings a wonderful homeschooling method(informal training system Like mosques, madrasa) which emphasis training and practice more than learning.
Quranic methods of human training have such wonderful features that fit into the methods of good homeschooling. All social development and advanced technology are because of That Islamic(INFORMAL)homeschooling method.
Today it is needed to move back where and follow Quran which has complete homeschooling methods
Now see how Quranic methods of a god homeschooling will be applied, using four sources of information on the children of all learning types to nourish their personal skills.

        1) The artistic and verbal method and the tone of voice (as Qur’an uses) in a good Homeschooling help more.

Children love to color and want a variety of toys, clothes, foods, games, stories, poems outings, etc. And they learn while playing but they need dictation(Molding interest and converting information).
And dictation should be more attractive with a soft tone of voice and verbal sentences.
Instead of teaching the knowledge, convert the information.
Suppose, if a child hurts someone(his siblings, friend, and bug or bee), and he would be told not to do this in insulting or dictation method and harsh words would be used to stop him, this will not work.
A good method of good homeschooling is that it makes him realize he did wrong, wisely using soft words and a painful wise tone.
like: – oooh it must be hurting him,
it is very painful for him,
You must say sorry and hug him,
Because of the devil, you did it so say  Astaghfirullah.
This thing and style feel sorry for him.

        The intellectual and scientific content

When children are being homeschooled, they ask,

        what is this?
The methods of good homeschoolingwhy is this?
        where is something? etc.
They should be answered wisely with scientific content
         Like: –
If Children ask why a bird can fly and I can’t?
Answer with scientific reason makes things easy and understandable.
Your answer should be like this; –
        he has wings,
        it has less weight,
and he can push air and can go high and fly.
Make a paper/origami bird or plan to show the example. Just answering them that because they are the bird and we are not is not enough.

        3) The reinforcement of the spiritual dimensions of man.

In a Good homeschooling method, a child could be treated according to his own spirit and level of learning. In this regard learning types of a student could help.

        4) The appeal to reflect and ponder.

In this regard provide material to them and let them practice.
Facilitate a child with the application. In a good homeschooling method, a single item could help much.
        Activities Like: –
Seed a plant and observe the stages of its growth,
Take the fruit basket and observe the colors and taste of different fruits,
Colors combination(red and yellow makes orange)
        The methods of good homeschooling

        5) The appeal to the study of nature.

Nature is the world’s best trainer and teacher.
As a homeschooling student, a child gets more time to play and live outside. Spend more time outside near nature and discuss birds, plants, clouds, the sun, day-night, bugs bees, land, and hills.
In this regard, I have another article about mobile apps which helps a child to study nature.

        6) The tapping of the historical incidents for evaluation.

In the method of good homeschooling,, history works like junk food. Direct from shop to mouth.
        Stories from the Quran,
Then make own stories for kids like, Story of a pencil was made,
The living style of old ages,
How a knife or fire harmed anyone? The story of the child’s childhood.
And most attracting stories for children are your own childhood stories.

        7) The expounding of the mysteries of the creation.Discussion with children about

Why Allah had made this world,
Why was sent into this world,
What is the reason for creating the plant,
        clouds, water, air, germs, etc?
Clouds to rain, water to drink and grow, birds to eat bugs bees, cats to eat the mouse, etc

        8) The mentioning of series of truths and principles that govern human life, i.e. Sociology, Economics, Government, etc.

Here are rules and regulations of every aspect of the life described in the Qur’an.
In a good homeschooling, the child would be more about these rules.
Sociology includes, And rights of Allah Rights of human, rights of birds. How to interact with others.who is the owner, how to share or get things from others.
Economic, How to do trade, Sharing foods, toys, sell and buy, And who is the owner.

Government. The rule will be included like Who is the boss(father)? How to obey him and respect his orders.
same as that A team captain in a game governs, and the team will obey.

        9. Zikker.(Repetition) m  m

        The methods of good homeschooling

Every child learns with repetition. It may visual, oral or experimental.

In a good homeschooling, Parenting/ tutor could repeat as many times as he wishes with children. And again this repeating should be artistic and verbal so that children do not get tired.

        10: – Penalty and punishment.

The penalty means reward, it could be oral like praise and acknowledgment. And some time to stop a child from something doing wrong punishment is also necessary. AS in Qur’an, penalty, and punishment are described at the same time.
But Right after 20 to 30 minutes of punishment, come back to the child and discuss with him/her what he did wrong and why it should not happen next time.(Remmeber!children have a weak memory, They learn very fastly what they see but they could take the time to forget any wrong habit. So in a few discussions, they could not leave any habit. so some times try to ignore and sometimes discuss with good words)

         What to teach?
        1) Reason and logic.
        2) Experience.
        3) Study of Nature.
        4) History.
are the four sources of information.
And In a good homeschooling, With this source of information children is taught different subjects and field of knowledge, like ethics, socialism, economics, science, and technics.

Informal education, the more educated, trained and skillful person who runs the educational institutes provides fully structured services.
With the changes in lifestyles and technology life become more easy and advanced systems are being introduced to formal schooling methods. But in a good homeschooling method Parents or tutors Use these sources to transform knowledge into children.

Using these all ten good homeschooling methods, a child could be shaped into a pious and honest Muslim. A good Homeschooling means more patience, more devotion, more skills, more passion, and full knowledge.
In this method of good homeschooling, Don’t forget to provide a good educational and practical environment, and also say “yes I’m here to a child” every time.
