    Topic Importance of Darood

    Story of Ibraheem A.S

My dear children! Hazrat Ibrahim  (A.S) was a very obedient and pious Nabi. He faced many problems and difficulties but he always fulfilled his trials.

Allah sent him toward such a nation that was an idol worshipper. The father of Hazrat Ibrahim( A.S) was also an idol worshipper, but Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) refused to be an idol worshipper and tried to convince his father and other people.

He broke all their idols, and due to it his father and other people dismissed him from the city, but Ibrahim (A.S) was thankful and stayed obeying. when Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) got married he was blessed with a son after many years.

He was very happy but then Allah ordered him to leave his wife and son in a deserted area of Makkah, Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) fulfilled the order of Allah and left them there with some food and water.

He believed that Allah would help them. After some time water replenished and baby Ismail started to cry due to thirst, the mother started to find water here and there but could not find it then. Allah sent his help. By rubbing the heels of Hazrat Ismail (A.S) on the ground, water flowed out from the rock.

    hadith

Now this water is known as Aab -e- zam zam. Due to the facility of water people started to live over there and formed a new city in the deserted area called Makkah.

After some years when Hazrat Ismail became 9 to 10 years old, Allah ordered Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) in a dream to sacrifice his son in the way of Allah.

Dear kids, for a father it was very difficult to do so, but Hazrat Ibrahim knew that Allah would never be cruel to anyone, IT Would be a trial from Allah, so he told his son about the order of Allah.

His son was also an obedient man. He said Baba Jaan do as Allah ordered you, I will be stiffed by the wish of Allah, then Allah sent his help and Hazrat Ismail was saved from sacrifice. A sheep was sacrificed instead of Hazrat Ismail (A.s)…

Dear kids, this trial was very hard but its reward was very good. Allah revealed them to construct my house, bait-Allah. The  Old father fixed the bricks and the young son brought the bricks and stones. They were praying.‘‘O Allah Accept our deed, bless our descendants and make this house a blessing for the whole world till the day of judgment. reported their prayer and after that, All Nabi came from Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S)..

Dear kids today, all Christians Muslims, and Jews are descendants of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) Muslims even today follow the sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and perform a sacrifice on eid ul Adha and walk around the Kaaba. They are blessed till the day of judgment.

We should recite Darood on Hazrat Muhammad and follow the Hadith of the prophet (PBUH), so that Allah May also bless holy Prophet and his descendants.

    His mah May increase.

Dear kids, we should follow the teachings of Islam and Sunnah.

Dear kids now recite Darood on the prophet (PBUH) and write it down in your Kitaab-ul-hadees, learn it well, and then share it with others so that other people also become aware of the importance of Hadith.

    online islamic courses

Welcome to our Hadees with stories short course for kids and adults. This course has been designed for personality development.

    Lesson no 8

Hadith no 7 about morality (Jamia Tirmidhi)

    7 Seerah stories for kids

    Hadith-What is Morality?

AslamoAlikum dear children! Dear children, are you all fine and well? Hopefully, you will be enjoying the stories and hadiths. And I hope you will be memorizing your hadiths too. Our today’s Hadith story is about Morality. And our prophet SAW is the best example of Good morality. Let’s read our hadith first …………………………………

    HADITH

Dear children, after listening to the hadith, you must have understood that today we will talk about good behavior, that is how we have to communicate with others, how to behave, and which habits we should adapt.

So, dear children, if we talk about good deeds, the best example we have is the life of our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW.

Dear children, today we will study some Pleasant moments from the life of our beloved Prophet from which we can learn how to live happy with each other and make our morals very good and loving too. Our Holy Prophet was very nice to others in all matters. His way of talking was very nice. He used to make jokes also but he never hurt any one. He never told a lie even in a joke and told us to do the same.

    HADITH
So dear children, let me tell you some stories today!

Story no 1| Who will Buy this slave?

Our first incident today is about our beloved prophet and a villager. Once a villager Zuhr bin Haram used to come to sell his goods in the bazaar of Madinah, so dear children, he became a friend of our beloved prophet He had become a companion of our Prophet. One day he brought his goods and put them in the bazaar of Madinah and began to sell them. When our Prophet passed by, he saw him and went behind him with ease and snatched him and seized him with force. Couldn’t see but realize that it could be none other than our beloved prophet

So dear children, Zuhr bin Haram, companion of the Prophet did not try to save himself but stood comfortably because he felt good but our prophet had mischievous, he started shouting loudly, “Who will buy this slave?” When people heard that a slave seller had come here, all the people started gathering there and all the companions who were there enjoyed it and everyone started smiling.

Then the Prophet left Zuhr bin Haram and said, ‘Tell me how are you now.’ Zuhr bin Haram just smiled because he enjoyed this. Dear children, see how the little joke changed the atmosphere and the whole market was happy with this joke.

Story no 2|Ali! You ate too Many Dates

Dear children, not only this when our beloved Prophet notice that his companions are sitting quietly and saying nothing so he then tries to make the atmosphere a little pleasant and for this, our Prophet once did such a thing that everyone smiled a lot. I will tell you what it was.

Once Hazrat Ali (RA) and our beloved Prophet were sitting and eating dates. Some other Companions were also sitting nearby and they were also eating dates. Our Holy prophet was eating dates and putting all kernels of dates in front of Hazrat Ali (RA).

Ali (RA) was watching all this but he remained silent because he did not know what our Prophet was going to do. So when all the dates were gone, our beloved Prophet said:

Ali, you have eaten so many dates. Look at your kernels in front of you. When Ali (RA) saw that there were indeed a lot of kernels in front of him, he started smiling and understood why he was putting kernels in front of him. When the companions saw their kernels they were less than Hazrat Ali and it was too much for Hazrat Ali (RA), so all the companions smiled and enjoyed it.

Dear children, not only this, but the whole life of our beloved Prophet is an example of good morals.

Story no 3|Camels Baby (The Calf)

As our prophet said on another occasion it was a joke but not a lie. Do you know what that joke was?

The joke was that once an Arab Bedouin came to Holy Prophet and said, “O Messenger of Allah, I am very poor, give me something. Our beloved Prophet said to him, ‘Well, I will give you a camel’s calf.’

Arab Bedouin said, “What shall I do with the camel’s calf? I shall not be able to ride on it nor shall it be of any use to me”. Our beloved prophet smiled at him and said, “O Bedouin, do you not know that every camel is a calf of a camel”. Now, this Arab understood this very well. He left with a camel and some other goods.

So, dear children, such light-hearted jokes make us happy from the inside too, and make others happy too. So, dear children not only with jokes but we should keep others happy with our habits and good deeds. Just like our Prophet, we should try to make other people happy.

    Story no| Grapes are sour!!!

Our Holy Prophet Once a villager Bedouin brought a basket full of grapes for Holy Prophet and the grapes were sour but the villager did not know this. Now our Prophet ate all the grapes one by one.

The companions of our Prophet who sat with him were surprised to see all this because they were thinking that as usual Prophet ﷺ will give them grapes too. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ didn’t give them a single grain.  The Arab was very happy that our Prophet ate all the grapes I had brought. So he happily went from there.

After he left, one of the companions said, “O Messenger of Allah, you have never done this before. You used to distribute something with us whenever you eat. Today you have not given us grapes.”

Our Prophet said, “Look when I ate the first grape, it was sour, so I ate all the grapes myself so that none of you would eat the grapes and make fun of it or make fun of the villager who brought sour grapes, so I ate all grapes myself and make his heart happy. So beware of how our prophet kept the hearts of others happy and kept them happy too.

Story no 5| A race with Aysha RA.

He not only keep other people happy but he also kept his family very happy.

Our beloved Prophet’s wife Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that once our Prophet was going with us on a journey. On the way, our caravan went a little ahead and we both stayed behind so our Prophet said Ayesha R.A, let’s have a race.

Ayesha R.A said, “O Allah’s Apostle, you will run.” He said, “Yes, I will run and you will run with me.” Hazrat Ayesha said, “Okay. So both of them started running.” As Hazrat Ayesha (RA) was thin and young so she ran fast and went ahead. Our beloved Prophet was left behind, but our beloved Prophet was not disturbed by this and began to smile.

A few years later, Hazrat Ayesha (RA) and Holy Prophet were going on a journey again. On the way, our Prophet said again, “O Ayesha, let us have a race.” Hazrat Ayesha (RA) said, “All right. At that time, Hazrat Ayesha (RA) became a little fat, so she did not run faster than him. Our Prophet said: Ayesha, I have won today. So this is the contest ended up at an equal level. Hazrat Ayesha was also very happy and started smiling

So dear children, we should make small jokes with family members, and should also be cheerful and competitive. You should also play, but you should not fight and you should gladly accept the victory of others.

Yes, you like the stories of our prophet

So what do you think should we stop these stories or just want to hear more?

Hmmm, I know your heart right now. No, but dear children, there are many such incidents in the life of our Prophet. So let me tell you another story.

Story no 6| Help of An old women

Once an old woman was going somewhere in the heat and sun carrying a lot of things. The Prophet of Allah saw her and said, “Give me your luggage. I will carry it. This woman gave her luggage to Prophet. The Prophet of Allah picked up her luggage and took it with him.”

On the way, the Prophet asked the woman, “Where are you going, oh old lady?” She said, “I am leaving this city. I have heard that a sorcerer has come to this city who has made all people Muslims.” I am leaving this city for fear of him. At the same time, she was cursing the beloved prophet.

She said, “He is very bad.I knew he is a magician. I am very afraid of him. You should also avoid him.” Our Prophet did not take care of what she was saying  at all but kept smiling secretly. When the woman noticed that the boy had a very sweet and gentle smile and a gleam on his face. She was very surprised but did not ask anything when she reached her destination, the woman asked, “young man, what is your name?”

Our beloved prophet said: I am Muhammad , prophet of Allah. When this woman heard his name, she was very ashamed and surprised that he was such a good person. He also helped me. I kept saying bad things to him but he didn’t say bad things about her. How can this sorcerer? But he will be a prophet of Allah. So this woman converted to Islam, inspired by our Prophet’s morals and good speech.

So dear children, did you see how even non-Muslims would have embraced Islam, inspired by the good manners and habits of our Prophet

We have to listen to these events and enjoy them and feel close to our beloved prophet and our real job is to follow the Sunnah of our beloved prophet and treat others with kindness and we shouldn’t never be harsh with anyone.

Dear children, remember that good morals were the way of our beloved Prophet

You have to adopt it as a Sunnah.

You have to write the hadith well and remember that you have to tell the story to your younger siblings and grandparents.

Good dear children, today’s series of hadith and story is over, take care of yourself and try to adopt good manners.

Welcome to our Hadith with stories short course for kids and adults. This course has been designed for personality development.

    Lesson no 10

    Hadith no Sahih Muslim 2593

Topic of the Hadith is “Kindness”

    Story “Kindness of Subuktigin”

    Hadith’s introduction and explanation

Dear kids, Kindness is one of Allah’s attributions. Allah is very kind to his Creations. And he also wants to show kindness toward everyone even animals and insects.

The prophet of Allah, Muhammad SAW was the kindest man on this earth. He never hurt anyone. And he advised us to live kindly. So we may see many stories in Islam where Muslims seem to be very kind to Allah’s creation.

Today we will listen to a great story of kindness.

    hadith

    Story-Graet King Subuktigin

Sabuktigin was a slave in his youth and later he Married the daughter of His master Alptgin. It is the time when he was a slave.

    hadith with story

Once he went hunting for his master. He wandered for a whole day but could not hunt. When he was on his way back, He found a Fawn(The baby of a deer) near a lake.

He was happy, Finally, he got something. He ran and caught the fawn and pulled him up. Fawn was very small and nice. He did not resist. He kept the fawn at the back of his horse and started his ride.

It was going to be dark very soon so he rode faster to reach his destination. After some time he saw a deer when he turned back. He thought this fawn is enough for me. I should not try to hunt deer. He continued his journey. After a while he noticed, the deer was still coming back to him.

Then he noticed a deer was following him. He could understand why the deer was following him. Why she is putting herself in danger? What she wants from me. He was in deep thinking, He gazed at him. He noticed there was something in the eyes of Deer. her eyes seem to be worried, tearful, and appealing to him.

His mind sparked and he thought, is it mother deer? He thought.

Ohhh she is, yes she must be a mother. Only a mother can put herself in danger.

How could I be so cruel? I should not separate them.

He thought and freed the Fawn. she ran faster and reached his mother, They were hugging each other. Mother was kind and the fawn was happy. He Stayed there for a while and felt the love moments. Then he rode and turned around to have a last look at that emotional scene.

The deer’s eyes thanked him. They were grateful to him. He was satisfied that the deer was happy. He had nothing that day, But he got great satisfaction from his act of kindness.

That night when he slept he had a dream. That deer was saying to him,’ You are a noble man, one day you will be the king.

After many years, his dream came true. And he became the King of Ghazni after some years.

His good deeds and kindness returned to him in this way.

My dear children, we should also be always happy, content, and kind towards everyone.

Now you must write this hadith into your Book and learn it well.

Welcome to Our Hadith with stories course for Kids. You are going to Start a short course for your child. After this course, your children would have their own mini -Kitab -UL-Hadess (For a Description of this Free online course scroll down)

Here is the “First Hadees and story of Our hadith with stories course for kids.

Hadith on Eating manners in Islam

Dear kids, Today we will learn the hadith on the Eating manner in Islam.

As always, I have a beautiful hadith and an interesting story to share with you all.

Our hadith for today is based on the following saying:

‘None of you eats with your left hand.’

Dear kids, after reading this hadith you will learn Eating manners in Islam

What are the harmful effects of eating with your left hand and why should we avoid this habit? Let’s hear a story to find out more about this topic.

hadith on Eating manners in Islam

The story of A Hungry Boy Ali with hadith on Eating manners in Islam

The story is about a boy whose name was Ali.

Ali was a good and well-mannered child. He always behaved well and respected others. He played and studied on time. Everyone praised him! But dear kids, after some time, Ali’s habits began to change.

Now it happened that Ali started to spend more time playing games. He used to easily get distracted by his toys even while eating food. He always had something in his hand to play with.

Dear kids, whenever Ali had to eat something, he would either take the mobile phone or have a toy in his hand to play with while eating.

As a result, he started to eat with his left hand so that he could play with his right hand. Actually,, he started to forget the hadith on eating manners in Islam.

Dear kids, do you know that a devil eats with those who eat with their left hand, and if the left hand is used for eating, the blessings of the food go into the devil’s tummy?

One day, Ali’s mother advised him not to eat with his left hand as it was a bad habit, but Ali forgot to follow it. Soon, it became his habit that he would eat with his left hand.

But whenever he ate with his left hand, a devil took away the blessings from his food, and it would go in the devil’s tummy.

Every time Ali ate the food with his left hand, his hunger would not be satisfied, and he would feel empty. He became weak day by day. He started to consume more food but it was never enough as he had forgotten the manners of eating.

He would not wash his hands.

    He would not say bismillah.

He never ate with his right hand.

    And always played while eating.

The devil was really happy because he admired Ali’s bad habits. He was getting fat as he was taking all the energy from Ali’s food.

Ali could not play like he used to because he got hungry every time he went out to play. He would have to rush back home to feed himself.

Therefore, he would mostly just watch the kids playing from his window.

Dear kids, his parents became very worried about him but Ali did not listen to them and instead got angry at them every time they tried to talk to him.

He had gotten out of control now. Often he would eat his brother and sister’s share of food as well yet he would remain hungry. The story of his hunger spread everywhere. His relatives and family members could not make him satisfied no matter what food they gave him.

At last, someone suggested to his parents to visit some wise man who was Allah’s devoted servant and would cure his condition.

Ali’s parents took him as a wise, noble, and Allah’s devoted servant. He heard his problem and said,

‘Don’t worry, Ali has no problem. In Sha Allah, Ali will be alright in a few days.’

The man asked Ali to stay with him and arranged food for him. When Ali was about to eat, the man told Ali that he must obey his terms before eating the food. Ali had been hungry for a long time so he asked the wise man to tell him the terms so he could follow them.

The devoted man asked Ali to wash his hands first. Ali immediately complied.

Then he asked Ali to recite Bismillah.

Ali followed the instructions and recited Bismillah. He was going to eat when the wise man pointed out that he was about to use his left hand.

He explained that we must always use our right hand to eat no matter how long it takes.

Ali recited bismillah……..and then started to eat with the right hand but he found it difficult as he was used to eating with the left hand. It was very uncomfortable for him but because it was a strict term that the wise man had stressed, he continued to eat with his right hand slowly.

Dear kids, this time the devil could not get a share of his food. He waited for Ali to eat with his left hand so he could get a share of Ali’s food.

But the devoted man was sitting with Ali and he made sure that Ali did not eat with his left hand and finished his meal properly. Ali felt satisfied and full. The devil slept hungrily.

Dear kids, whenever the devoted man gave food to Ali, he ate it with his right hand.

Due to a devoted man’s wisdom, the devil went away.

Ali started to eat food according to his hunger and on time.

Ali’s parents were thankful to the devoted man.

Ali also promised himself that he would never change his habit of eating with his right hand.

Dear kids, you see how Ali got trapped by the devil due to his bad habits? So dear kids, always remember the manners of eating like:

    Wash hands

    Reciting bismillah…….

    Eating with the right hand

Not talking while eating (or only talking about good things)

    Sitting properly

    Finishing with Alhumdulillah

Dear kids, I hope you will follow these rules. Now you have to remember this Hadith and spread this information to others also.

    Stay blessed!

    Ameen

See you all soon with the next Hadith.

Hadith no 1. Sahih Al Bukhari no1: “Good intentions”

    hadith

    Introduction of Hadith about Intentions

Hadith is ”Our Actions depend on our good intentions”. Sahih Bukhari no 1

Story:- The house of a Sahabi

Once upon a time, a man constructs a new house, he was living in a small house, which he did not like, so for a new house, he wants to have every system which does not create any problems for him while living.

He keeps the window in the house no doubt it was a beautiful house, everyone liked it,  a man passing nearby sees the house and observed that there is a beautiful  window in the house which opens outside he praised his house and asked the owner humbly

    hadith

Why did you keep this window outside in your house?

What is your intention to make this window?

The owner replied I want to make my house perfect I keep this window so that fresh air and sunlight can enter my house,

The other man said it’s good but if you intend to hear the voice of Azaan from the window u would get a reward for good intentions, as sunlight and air would get inside,, if you don’t Intend even then u can get them, but on your good intension to hear the voice of azan you could get both, reward from Allah and air with sunlight from the window …

So dear kids moral of this story is

Always keep your intentions good to get rewarded for your actions.

    Day .15…Hadees No 14 👇🏃‍♂️

The Topic of the Hadees of the Day –Darood.

The story: Excellamncy of Prophet Ibrahim and Darood I Ibrahim.

    For English Members:

    Prophet Muhammad

Hadith Explained_ Importance of Darood Prophet Muhammad SAW

With the Hadees about Darood, we will teach our kids about the importance of Darood. All of us sent Darood when we listen or say The name of our prophet Muhammad SAW.

But many of us don’t know that this is actually a prayer for the prophet and His Family. So our story of this Hadees will explain the background of Darood, Darood Ibrahim, and Salwat.

As regards the story about the Hadith, there is no story that fits exactly our topic of the Hadees.

So I decided to write it myself. In this story I will give some information about the Darood and prayers of Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Muhammad SAW for their children, family, and for their deen.

Here is the outline of the story.  Our prophet Muhammad SAW asked His Companions and His Ummah to send prayers because he wished he could get the Barakah in his children and his Deen like the Prophet Ibraheem was given.

In the second step, The story explains that Ibraheem was a very noble man and Allah gave him Barak in children. Bayt-ul-Allah was also built by him. Allah was happy with him. But he got all this nobility and barakah after many hardships and trials from Allah.

He was pushed into the fire, he left his house and father for sake of Allah. He was also asked to leave his infant boy in a desert, and then sacrifice his young son.

After so many hardships Allah found him so sincere with his God and his deen. So Allah accepts all his sacrifices and prayers and sent many prophets into his family. Till the day of judgment, his footsteps will be followed by all Muslims during Haj and Umrah.

And it is a compulsory part of our prayers to read Darood Ibraheem. Our prophet Muhammad SAW ordered all his Ummahs to send Darood(prayers)on him so that he may get that much barakah and nobility from Allah.

And our prophet also wished to have a big number of Ummah so that he would get pride in having the largest Ummah of all prophets.  So now it’s our duty to send Darood on our prophets as well as preach to others to accept Islam so that Muslim Ummah would increase in number and It would make our prophet proud.

Please help your kids to understand the Hadith. If you have any story related to this topic, read them. n the end, don’t forget to write Hadith in the Hadees book. Or solve worksheets.

You can share the picture of the Hadith for other activities you did for this Hadith. So that your kids would get the certificate of completing their Ahadith.

May Allah make it easy for you. Note: -Spread this Hadees with your family and friend so that more people would benefit from it.

Hadith Story and Worksheet on Controlling Negative Emotions

    🌷 Assalaam-O-Alaikum Dear Students! 🌷

Welcome to an important lesson today! We are excited to share with you Hadith #5, which teaches us about three very dangerous emotional states that can harm our hearts, minds, and relationships. These three negative emotions – anger, envy, and grudge – are like diseases of the heart that can spread and cause serious damage to ourselves and others. Through this hadith and story, we will learn how to recognize these emotions, understand their destructive nature, and most importantly, how to overcome them with Islamic wisdom and strength.

    ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

    UNDERSTANDING THE THREE EMOTIONAL DISEASES

    ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

Islam teaches us that a Muslim’s heart should be pure, filled with love, compassion, and gratitude. However, three emotions can poison our hearts and lead us away from the path of righteousness. Let’s understand each one:

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

    1. ANGER (GHADHAB) – THE FIRST STAGE OF EMOTIONAL DISEASE

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

    What is Anger?

Anger is a natural human emotion. We all feel angry sometimes. However, when anger becomes uncontrolled and we express it in harmful ways, it becomes a serious problem. Uncontrolled anger can lead us to:

✗ Say hurtful words to others
    ✗ Act aggressively toward people
✗ Make decisions we later regret
    ✗ Damage relationships
✗ Lose the respect of others
✗ Distance ourselves from Allah’s guidance

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) warned us about anger. He said in many hadiths that anger is from Shaitan (Satan) and that we should seek refuge from it. The Prophet taught us that true strength is not in controlling our outward actions alone, but in controlling our anger and negative emotions.

How Anger Affects Children and Adults:

When we (or children) become angry about every little thing, we develop a habit of being quick to react. Over time, this habit becomes part of our personality. We start:

    • Reacting harshly to minor inconveniences
    • Shouting at family members for small mistakes
    • Breaking things when frustrated
    • Losing friends due to aggressive behavior
    • Creating an unhappy atmosphere at home and school
    • Developing stress and health problems

The Teaching Method: Read the hadith about anger to understand this first stage, then discuss with your child why controlling anger is important. You can also refer to the story about anger that teaches children through narrative.

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

    1. ENVY/JEALOUSY (HASAD) – THE SECOND STAGE OF EMOTIONAL DISEASE

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

    What is Envy (Hasad)?

Envy is when we wish that others did not have something good. It goes beyond simply wanting something for ourselves – it means we want to take away what others have or prevent them from enjoying it. Envy is more dangerous than anger because:

✗ It grows silently in our hearts
✗ Others may not see it on the surface
✗ It eats away at our own peace and happiness
✗ It makes us focus on what others have instead of being grateful for our own blessings

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Do not envy one another, do not inflate prices on one another, do not hate one another, do not turn away from one another, and do not undercut one another; but be you, O servants of Allah, brothers unto one another.” (Reported by Muslim)

    The Progression of Envy:

    Envy typically develops in stages:

    1. First Stage: We see someone has something nice (a new toy, good grades, nice clothes, a talent)
    2. Second Stage: We wish WE had it instead
    3. Third Stage: We start to feel irritated that THEY have it
    4. Fourth Stage: We might try to make them feel bad about their possession
    5. Fifth Stage: We secretly hope something bad happens to their blessing so it no longer benefits them

    How Envy Destroys Happiness:

The worst part of envy is that it destroys OUR OWN happiness more than anyone else’s. When we are envious:

    • We cannot enjoy our own blessings
    • We spend time wishing we had what others have
    • We become ungrateful to Allah
    • We lose the ability to genuinely celebrate with others
    • We develop stress and anxiety
    • We become unhappy even when good things happen to us

Example for Children: If your friend gets a toy you wanted, and you become envious:

    • You cannot play with your other toys happily
    • You cannot enjoy playing with your friend
    • You spend time feeling sad instead of being grateful for what YOU have
    • The toy your friend has doesn’t belong to you, but your sadness DOES belong to you!

The Teaching Method: Teach children about the difference between jealousy (wanting something) and envy (not wanting others to have it). Use the hadith and story to show how destructive this emotion is and how it prevents us from appreciating Allah’s gifts.

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

    1. GRUDGE/IRRITATION (BHUGAZ) – THE THIRD STAGE OF EMOTIONAL DISEASE

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

    What is Grudge?

A grudge is when we hold onto hurt feelings or anger toward someone for a long time. It’s an irritation or resentment that builds up and becomes part of our relationship with that person. When someone has a grudge, they:

    ✗ Hold onto past hurts
    ✗ Cannot forgive others
✗ Keep bringing up old mistakes
✗ Hope for revenge or justice
✗ Refuse to give the person another chance
✗ May actively try to harm the other person

Why is Grudge the Most Dangerous Stage?

Grudge is the most destructive because it combines all three emotions:

    1. Anger – We are still angry about what happened
    2. Envy – We might wish they hadn’t succeeded or prospered
    3. Active Harm – We may actually try to hurt them or damage their reputation

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us: “Do not cut off relations with one another, do not harbor enmity toward one another, and do not turn your backs on each other, O servants of Allah!”

What Happens When We Hold a Grudge:

When we hold a grudge against someone:

    • We become obsessed with their wrongdoing
    • We cannot move forward in our own lives
    • Every interaction with them is negative and painful
    • We lose out on potential friendships and good relationships
    • Our own health suffers from stress and negative emotions
    • We become a person full of bitterness instead of mercy
    • Most importantly, we distance ourselves from Allah’s mercy

Allah (SWT) teaches us in the Quran: “Let not those among you who are endued with grace and plenty swear not to give (help) to their kinsmen, and those in want, and those who have left their homes in the cause of Allah: let them forgive and overlook, do you not wish that Allah should forgive you? For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran 24:22)

The Teaching Method: Help children understand that holding a grudge means we haven’t forgiven others. Teach them the beauty of forgiveness through the hadith and story. Show them that letting go of grudges actually makes US happier and freer.

    ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

THE HADITH: CONTROLLING ANGER, ENVY, AND GRUDGE

    ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

    HADITH TEXT:

The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: “Anger (Ghadhab) destroys good deeds just as vinegar destroys honey.” Another hadith states: “The strong person is not the one who throws his adversaries to the ground. Rather, the strong person is the one who controls himself when he is angry.” (Reported by Bukhari)

Concerning envy, the Prophet (PBUH) said: “Verily, envy destroys good deeds like fire consumes wood.” And: “Do not envy one another, do not inflate prices on one another, do not hate one another, and do not harbor enmity toward one another; and be not jealous of one another. And be you, O servants of Allah, brothers unto one another.” (Reported by Muslim)

About grudges and holding enmity, Allah (SWT) says in the Quran: “Let those who were made enmity to each other unite. Whoever abandons his enmity and pardons has his reward with Allah.” (Quran 42:40)

    Sahih Muslim 2564

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

    WHY THIS HADITH MATTERS

    ───────────────────────────────────═──────────────────═─────═

This hadith is crucial for every Muslim, especially children, because:

    1. It shows the consequences of negative emotions: The comparison to vinegar destroying honey and fire consuming wood shows that these emotions damage our good deeds. No matter how much good we do, if we are angry, envious, or hold grudges, our hearts become dark.
    2. It teaches us that true strength is emotional control: The Prophet teaches us that being strong is NOT about physical power. It’s about controlling ourselves when we feel strong negative emotions.
    3. It emphasizes brotherhood: Islam is built on love, compassion, and brotherhood. These three emotions (anger, envy, grudge) directly contradict Islamic values.
    4. It shows us the way to Allah’s mercy: When we let go of these emotions and forgive others, Allah forgives us and blesses us.

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

COMPREHENSIVE STORY OUTLINE: “THE THREE BROTHERS AND THE LOST GARDEN”

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Setting: A Muslim village where three brothers live with their family. They grew up together and were once very close, but over time, three dangerous emotions have entered their hearts.

    Characters:

    • Adil (Age 12): The oldest brother, kind-hearted but struggles with anger
    • Karim (Age 10): The middle brother, who has become envious of others’ success
    • Bilal (Age 8): The youngest brother, who holds grudges from past conflicts

PART 1: THE BEGINNING – THREE EMOTIONS TAKE ROOT

Once, their father planted a beautiful garden that produced the best fruits and vegetables in the village. It was their family’s pride and their source of happiness and provision. However, one day, their neighbor Hassan planted an even larger garden with better tools and more water access.

When the three brothers saw this, three different emotions took root in their hearts:

Adil’s Anger: When his father mentioned how well Hassan’s garden was doing, Adil became immediately angry. “How is that possible?” he shouted. “Our garden is the best! Hassan must have done something dishonest!” He became angry about little things – the way the wind blew, the amount of rain, anything that affected their harvest. His anger made him harsh with his siblings.

Karim’s Envy: Karim couldn’t stop thinking about Hassan’s garden. “It’s not fair!” he complained. “Why does HE have a better garden? Why does HE have better tools? I wish something would happen to his garden.” He couldn’t enjoy their own garden anymore. When guests praised their vegetables, Karim became irritated. He secretly hoped Hassan’s garden would fail.

Bilal’s Grudge: Two years before, Hassan had accidentally damaged part of their garden wall. It wasn’t intentional, and Hassan had apologized and helped fix it. But Bilal couldn’t let it go. He remembered this incident constantly and used it as an excuse to hate Hassan. “He’s always trying to hurt us,” Bilal would say, even though Hassan had done nothing wrong since then.

    THE CRISIS:

One day, a terrible flood came to the village. Hassan’s large garden was completely destroyed. Their family’s smaller garden survived because it was built on higher ground. This was their chance to be happy again, right? But it wasn’t.

What Actually Happened to Each Brother:

Adil: Instead of feeling happy about being saved, Adil remained angry. He complained that the damage to the village walls meant more work for everyone. He snapped at his family. He was so angry about the flooding situation that he couldn’t enjoy their garden’s survival or help the neighbors in need.

Karim: Even though their garden survived and they now had the only good harvest, Karim couldn’t enjoy it. He was still thinking about how unfair it all was, how Hassan had lost his garden, how his dreams were destroyed. Instead of feeling grateful for their blessing, Karim felt bitter. He couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep well, and his heart felt heavy despite their good fortune.

Bilal: When Hassan came to ask for help after the flood, Bilal refused! “This is what you deserve,” he said cruelly. “You damaged our garden before, and now your garden is destroyed. This is justice!” His refusal to forgive meant he was being cruel when Hassan needed help most.

    THE TRANSFORMATION:

Their father saw what was happening. He called his three sons and took them to sit under a big tree. He said:

“My sons, look at what has happened. We were blessed with a good garden, but three emotions have stolen your happiness:

    • Adil, your anger has made you bitter even in our good fortune. You cannot see the blessings because you are focused on what makes you angry.
    • Karim, your envy has destroyed your peace. Even when we have plenty, you cannot be happy because you are focused on what others have. You have become ungrateful to Allah.
    • Bilal, your grudge has made you a cruel person. You refused to help someone in need because of something they did long ago.

These three emotions destroy the heart like vinegar destroys honey. They are like fire consuming wood. Do you feel happy? Do you feel at peace? No. And it’s not because of what happened to Hassan. It’s because of what happened inside YOUR hearts.

But I teach you now the cure for these three diseases:

For Anger (Adil): Control yourself when you feel angry. Remember the Prophet’s teaching: Real strength is controlling your anger, not expressing it. When you feel angry, make wudu, pray, take deep breaths, and remember that Allah is watching and will reward you for controlling your emotions.

For Envy (Karim): Be grateful for what you have. Remember that Allah gives to everyone differently, and each person’s test and blessing is unique. When you see someone with something nice, instead of wishing they didn’t have it, wish them happiness. Be grateful for YOUR blessings.

For Grudge (Bilal): Forgive others, even when they hurt you. Holding a grudge only hurts you more. Look at Hassan – his garden is destroyed. He lost everything. Do you really want to add to his pain by refusing to help him? Forgiveness is a strength, not a weakness. It’s the Islamic way.

I am going to help Hassan rebuild his garden. I want all of you to come with me. This is how we overcome these negative emotions – through mercy, compassion, and forgiveness.”

    THE RESOLUTION:

The three brothers learned their lesson deeply that day. As they helped Hassan rebuild and clean up:

    • Adil worked hard without complaining. He controlled his frustration and spoke kindly to everyone, including his brothers. He discovered that without anger, he actually had energy and happiness.
    • Karim started noticing what he had rather than what he didn’t have. As he helped Hassan, he realized that seeing others happy actually brought him joy. He became grateful for his own family’s blessing.
    • Bilal helped Hassan without judgment. Hassan thanked him for the forgiveness and the help, and they became friends again. Bilal realized that holding a grudge had only made him miserable.

    THE LESSON:

When the garden finally bloomed again – both theirs and Hassan’s – all four families celebrated together. The village was stronger because the brothers had overcome their three emotional diseases.

Their father reminded them: “When you control anger, you are strong. When you are grateful instead of envious, you are rich. When you forgive instead of holding grudges, you are free. This is the path the Prophet taught us.”

From that day on, the three brothers understood that these negative emotions were weapons Shaitan (Satan) used against them. They made a pact to help each other control these emotions and to always choose forgiveness, gratitude, and mercy – the values that Islam teaches.

    DISCUSSION QUESTIONS FOR CHILDREN

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

After reading the hadith and story, discuss these important questions with your child:

    1. Why do you think anger destroys good deeds like vinegar destroys honey?
Answer: Because when we are angry, we say and do harmful things that undo all the good we’ve done. An angry person hurts others and themselves.
    2. Can you give an example of when you felt angry? What happened?
Answer: Help your child reflect on a real situation. Discuss what they could do differently next time.
    3. What is the difference between wanting something and being envious of someone?
Answer: Wanting something means you wish you had it. Being envious means you don’t want others to have it. Envy is worse because it focuses on taking away from others rather than gaining for yourself.
    4. How did Karim’s envy make him unhappy even though their garden survived the flood?
Answer: Because he was focused on what Hassan had lost and what they were missing, not on the blessing they received. He couldn’t enjoy their harvest.
    5. Why did Bilal refuse to help Hassan after the flood?
Answer: Because he was holding a grudge from something Hassan did years before. He thought the flood was punishment and didn’t have mercy.
    6. What did Bilal learn by helping Hassan rebuild his garden?
Answer: He learned that holding a grudge only hurt himself. By forgiving Hassan and helping him, he felt better and gained a friend back.
    7. What does the father mean when he says “anger makes you weak, envy makes you poor, and grudges make you imprisoned”?
      Answer:
    • Anger makes you weak because you lose control of yourself
    • Envy makes you poor in spirit because you’re never satisfied
    • Grudges imprison you because you can’t move forward
    1. What is the cure for anger according to the hadith and story?
Answer: Control yourself. Make wudu, pray, take deep breaths, remember Allah. Real strength is controlling anger.
    2. What is the cure for envy?
Answer: Be grateful for what you have. Wish happiness for others. Remember that Allah gives to each person what they need.
    3. What is the cure for holding grudges?
Answer: Forgive others. Understand that holding a grudge only hurts you. Choose mercy and compassion like the Prophet taught.

GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS: TEACHING YOUR CHILD TO OVERCOME NEGATIVE EMOTIONS

    ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

    Dear Parents,

These three emotions – anger, envy, and grudges – are very common in children (and adults!). The good news is that they can be controlled and overcome with practice and Islamic guidance. Here are practical strategies:

    1. TEACHING YOUR CHILD TO CONTROL ANGER

Recognize Anger Early: Help your child notice the signs of anger before they lose control:

    • Feeling hot or flushed
    • Clenched fists or tight chest
    • Speaking louder or wanting to shout
    • Feeling restless or wanting to hit something

    Teach Anger Management Techniques:

    • Breathing exercises: “Take deep, slow breaths. Count to 5 as you breathe in, hold for 5, breathe out for 5.”
    • Make wudu: Performing ablution cools the anger and brings peace.
    • Prayer: Encourage your child to pray when angry. The Prophet said prayer is the best cure.
    • Change position: If standing, sit down. If sitting, lie down. Movement changes our emotional state.
    • Drink water: Water is calming and the Prophet recommended it.
    • Take a break: Remove your child from the situation temporarily.
    • Speak softly: Speaking gently instead of shouting helps control anger.

Model Emotional Control: Let your child see YOU controlling your own anger. When you get frustrated:

    • Acknowledge it: “I’m feeling frustrated right now.”
    • Show the technique: “Let me take some deep breaths.”
    • Explain it: “I’m choosing to control my anger because it’s better for everyone.”

Praise the Effort: When your child controls their anger, praise them specifically:

    • “Masha’Allah! I saw that you got frustrated, but you took a deep breath instead of shouting. That’s real strength!”
    • “You controlled your anger! That’s what the Prophet taught us.”

    2. TEACHING YOUR CHILD TO OVERCOME ENVY

Cultivate Gratitude: This is the opposite of envy.

    • “Let’s count 5 things we’re grateful for today.”
    • “Thank Allah specifically for your blessings.”
    • “Remember, Allah gave us exactly what WE need.”

    Teach Contentment:

    • Read surahs about gratitude from the Quran
    • Share stories of people who were content with what they had
    • Remind your child: “Your blessing is your blessing. Someone else’s blessing is their blessing.”

    Help Them Celebrate Others’ Success:

    • When someone does well, practice saying “Alhamdulillah, I’m happy for them!”
    • Explain: “When our friend is happy, we should be happy too. This is Islamic brotherhood.”
    • “Wanting good for others is a sign of a kind heart.”

    Focus on Their Own Blessings:

    • Help them see what makes THEM special
    • Encourage their unique talents
    • Remind them: “You have blessings others don’t have. Be grateful!”

    Teach Comparison Awareness:

    • “People show their best on social media and to others. You don’t see their full picture.”
    • “Everyone has challenges, even people who seem to have everything.”
    • “Comparing yourself to others steals your joy.”

    3. TEACHING YOUR CHILD TO FORGIVE AND LET GO OF GRUDGES

    Discuss Forgiveness:

    • “Holding a grudge is like carrying a heavy rock in your heart.”
    • “When you forgive, you put down the rock and feel lighter.”
    • “Allah forgives us, so we should forgive others.”

    Practice Forgiveness at Home:

    • When siblings argue, help them forgive each other
    • Model forgiveness: “I forgive you for what happened. Let’s move forward.”
    • Teach them: “Real strength is forgiving someone who hurt you.”

    Address Past Conflicts:

    • If your child is holding a grudge against a friend or sibling:
    • Ask: “How long will you carry this hurt?”
    • Suggest: “What if you forgave them? Would you feel better?”
    • Plan: “Would you like to talk to them about it?”

    Teach the Hadith About Forgiveness:

    • The Prophet said: “The best charity is forgiveness.”
    • “Allah loves those who forgive.”
    • “Paradise is for those with merciful hearts.”

    Create Opportunities for Reconciliation:

    • Facilitate meeting between the child and the person they have a grudge against
    • Help them express their feelings and listen to the other person
    • Guide them toward forgiveness

    SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES AND EXERCISES

    Activity 1: The Emotion Wheel
Draw a wheel with different emotions. When your child feels a negative emotion, they point to it and you help them:

    • Name the emotion
    • Understand what triggered it
    • Practice the cure

    Activity 2: Gratitude Jar
Each day, have your child write one thing they’re grateful for. Read them together. This fights envy and builds gratitude.

    Activity 3: Forgiveness Letters
If your child has a grudge, help them write a forgiveness letter (they may or may not send it). This helps them process the hurt and let it go.

    Activity 4: Scenario Role-Play
Create situations and role-play how to respond:

    • Someone gets something you wanted
    • Someone makes you angry
    • Someone hurt you in the past
    • Practice the Islamic response

    Activity 5: Hadith Memorization
    Memorize the hadith together:
“Anger destroys good deeds just as vinegar destroys honey.”
Repeat it when anger begins to build.

    WHEN TO BE CONCERNED

If your child shows these signs, seek additional help from a counselor or Islamic scholar:

    • Frequent explosive anger that leads to harm
    • Persistent envy leading to destructive behavior
    • Inability to forgive, leading to isolation from others
    • Cruel behavior toward others
    • Obsession with revenge

    REMEMBER

Controlling these emotions is a lifelong journey for all of us. Be patient with your child. Praise every effort. Show them through your own behavior that the Islamic way of controlling anger, being grateful, and forgiving is the way to peace and happiness.

As the father in the story said: “When you control anger, you are strong. When you are grateful instead of envious, you are rich. When you forgive instead of holding grudges, you are free.”

May Allah help all of us overcome these three emotional diseases and fill our hearts with mercy, gratitude, and peace. Ameen.

    ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

    I’m explaining little here.

    Angriness:-

It is the first stage of sickness. Where a person gets angry about every little thing about everyone. He can’t control his angriness and hurt others with his/her behavior. Read hadith and the story about anger here.

    jealousy vs Envy(Hasad):-

It is the second stage and in This stage, a person starts to have inner feelings of angriness and jealousy/envy. He can’t control his/her feeling. He lives in a pity condition. He feels hate every time. He can’t see others happy and content. He can’t watch the blessings and luxuries of others. And In this feeling, he loses his own happiness. Because he prays for others that they May lose all that they have. He becomes more unthankful of Allah and others. Read Hadith and the story about envy here.

    Grudge(irritation):-

This is the stage where a sick man becomes more harmful. He tries to hurt others. He makes plans to give losses to others. And he digs pits for others and falls into them.

May Allah escape all of us from this.

Please read this to your kids.

    jealousy vs envy

    Introduction of short hadith course
Dear members! It is our utmost duty to follow the Sunah. In the light of this Hadith, we are going to read the story of the treaty of Hudaybiyah. The companions of Nabi SAW set a good example for all of us to follow the Sunnah. They could not bear a little delay in the following Sunnah. In the base of this story, we will motivate our kids to follow sunnah.
No doubt, every Muslim loves Islam and  Prophet Muhammad SAW.  But when we asked to fulfil our duties as a good Muslim, here are very few people who could practice it. Dear sisters Islam is not the name of a few Ibadah. It is a lifestyle and a theory of a healthy society.
Our days and nights, our dines and dresses, our parties and our gathering everything should be according to Sunnah. But I’m afraid to say that just 50 % of people have good knowledge of Sunnah but they also are not practicing them wholeheartedly and the other 50% even don’t know how was the life of our ProphetSAW.
Dear sisters, I request you that, our this session should not be ended up with just knowledge for knowledge. Let’s make a wish we will practice Sunnah with a full heart and teach Sunnah to our children and family too.
Let’s start from a single step.
The first day we will learn 1 Sunnah of Drinking water and then we will practice it for the whole week.
In the second week, we will Learn Sunnah of using the toilet and then practice for a week.
    Next to eating food. Etc.
I hope we will learn much in single steps.
(If anyone is interested to know Sunnah methods, how to apply them on children, healthy activities or something else, please don’t hesitate to inbox me)

    Introduction of the story
When the treaty of Hudaibiyah took place,  the Prophet of Allah orders all his companions to enclose their clothes(Ahram) and shave their heads and do animal sacrifice as rites of Ummrah. But the companions were not in the mood to obey his command.
The Prophet Muhammad was in shock and he entered his tent. He told this to his wife. She encouraged him, that Sahabah are in great sorrow of not offering Ummrah. You should go outside and do the rituals yourself the Shabah will obey your Sunnah. So the Prophet performed the operation and his companions did the same. Read the full story here.
